Our delightful tasting room provides a venue for sampling our wines while enjoying the picturesque country views. Stroll through the magnificent vineyards, sample superb wines, or simply sit for a while on the patio and take in the magnificent vantage point of the valley. The complete experience of the wine and how it comes to be is what make Crescent Moon Winery what it has become today.
We have an affection for making our wines appeal to a range of tastes, from dry through semi-sweet, to sweet and currently grow eleven grape varieties to accomplish just that. Our white grapes are Riesling, Vignoles, Seyval Blanc, Chardonel, Edelweiss and Gruner Veltliner. The red grapes we currently grow are Cabernet Franc, St Croix, Noiret, Norton and Chambourcin.

Lovely little winery not far from Lawrence and Tonganoxie. Very good dry white wines, and they also have apple and pear cider in tap. Definitely worth the stop if you like wineries and finding good locally made wines. They even grow a significant portion of their grapes onsite, and are planting more vines as well.

An absolute joy! The wine was spectacular. The service was beyond impeccable. Such a lovely tasting room with kind and very attentive service. Beautiful setting. Variety for the value was impressive. We bought four bottles! We will definitely be back and are looking forward to seeing more of them soon in Lawrence! The Edelweiss is incredible. Thank You for making our experience so enjoyable.

This winery is a little off the beaten path, but I noticed a tiny roadside sign when I was visiting the famous Grinter Farm sunflower fields and General Store, and followed it to this charming place with delicious wines and a beautiful view over their pond surrounding countryside.
For a party of 4 or fewer, a tasting of 5 wines was free, but their Seyval Blanc, a semi sweet white, was calling my credit card! All 5 I tasted were quite good. I especially liked being able to buy my bottle of chilled wine, have them open it and pour a glass so I could sit on the patio to enjoy it, then take it back

Crescent Moon opened in October and they have some good wines to try! There's a wide range of sweet to dry (even a blackberry dessert wine). The owners are very friendly and were fun to talk to. The property was gorgeous and they said by warm weather, they will have a place to sit outside and enjoy it. The tasting room is behind the house, so it almost seems like you are in the wrong spot. Inside, there are modern touches that my husband wants to incorporate into our home (Edison light bulbs and the trim). Cool little spot that I think will only get better with time
