Beltway Animal Hospital has been serving the Jacksonville community since 1976. Our veterinarians and support personnel form a team of professionals committed to excellence in animal care with a continued goal of "caring for pets and their families, " by providing the highest quality of veterinary medicine for our patients.
When you enter the door, you should be greeted by one of our receptionists. If it is your first visit to our hospital, you will be asked to fill out the new client paperwork. If you have been here before we will update your information and your pet will be checked in for his/her visit. A veterinary technician will call you and your pet into an exam room and will collect a history from you about your pet and address your concerns.
In order to focus on our patients' needs, customer service and minimizing costs, payment is expected when services are rendered. We accept all major credit cards (Visa, MasterCard, Discover, American Express) and checks (with proper identification and approval). When an unexpected illness or emergency happens, we also accept CareCredit which allows you to pay in installment payments.
We monitor our patients closely to keep them as safe as possible during procedures that require general anesthesia. A veterinary technician will continually assess your pet's heart and respiratory rate, . For some procedures, your pet will need to be administered general anesthesia so that he or she will be unconscious and not feel pain.
Imagine what your mouth would feel like if you never brushed your teeth or went to the dentist. For many dogs and cats, this is a painful reality. My friend loves Dr Jane and Dr June but the new vet Brown with her the whole place has gone to hell. when is it right to abuse a rescue emotionally. Brown did. Evidently she didn’t like the fact that the owner was allowed in with her rescue. Brown decided to take control and took her dog out of the room and instructed the tech to perform her… services out of the sight of the owner. I love this place! Even during Covid, they take all the precautions and are very organized. I was able to get my sweet Bella in for a walk in appt and she got in so quick. They come to your car, take your baby, then the doctor calls you and reviews everything with you. They bring her back to you and are always wearing their mask!! So thankful they take such good care of my babies

Outstanding visit! My cat saw Dr. Jane and received excellent, loving care.. My cat was treated for kidney failure. I saved about $700 by coming to Beltway. My last vet put my cats thru unnecessary procedures (my opinion), with more scheduled, and charged huge fees. Dr Jane at Beltway is the real deal.
