Recently, Governor Abbott approved a request to temporarily suspend Texas Occupation Code 111.005 (a)-(b) and Title 22, Chapter 174.6 (a)(2)-(3) of the Texas Administrative Code due to concerns that strict compliance with these laws could prevent, hinder, or delay timely delivery of necessary medical services in relation to efforts to cope with the declared disaster.

What this means for our clinic is that we are currently limiting all appointments to online or telephone only in order to support the social distancing recommendations. This includes initial new patient evaluations and all follow up appointment types. Please call or email the office with any questions.

I’ve been dealing with anxiety episodes for 2 years and finally gave in to getting help. Dr. Calzada is great at what he does. He asked questions that made me realize that I do need therapy and getting help is nothing to be ashamed of. I’m excited to get better because of him!

Contacted them for help and was told they don't accept insurance. When I asked if they could recommend someone who did accept insurance I received a rude response that they did not know anyone. I would not recommend.

Dr. Calzada is an excellent psychiatrist. He is very evidence based, and does a great job of explaining his suggestions. He was able to ask a series of questions about my history that brought some things to light that I was not able to get to on my own. Even before starting my medicine, I feel like I have a better understanding of my mental status which reduces my anxiety (about my anxiety). I am very impressed!

I've been with this provider for over a year. I've recommended him to close family and friends. I find it difficult to describe how remarkable my experience has been. As my provider he's asked me some tough questions that I never bothered to ask myself. When things felt as if they were getting worse, he reminded me that it was perfectly normal. To peel through those onion layers and realize my "end-game" (chess analogy) is not without it's cost. So my advice is simple. Keep going and when you think about what you intend to achieve with therapy, think to yourself that it's not a matter of "if" but

I have been to numerous doctors throughout the years trying to find a doctor that will not over prescribe you and will listen to your needs. Dr. Calzada is exactly that. He is very personable and does not make you feel rushed when you are seeing him. He explains everything with careful detail and makes sure you understand exactly what is going on with your treatment. It’s hard to find a psychiatrist with a therapy background that will listen to your needs and figure out the best treatment plan together. I have been with his practice for about 2 years now and couldn’t be happier. I highly suggest

Dr. Calzada is very kind and understanding, fits me in the schedule in the same week, and most of all he has cutting-edge knowledge of what medications to prescribe for your needs. I’ve been on meds for years, but he knew what to prescribe for my specific situation and it’s really made a difference.

Loved him! Listened, gave excellent guidance to a very complex medical situation. The suggestions and medication has been the first thing that has been working for me. I recommend him highly. Excellent training, schools, etc. And a doc that lets you challenge him and replies calmly and shows you respect in the process is very rare indeed.

Had to see a new Dr. Due to my old Dr. Retiring. I saw a few different ones before settling with Dr. Calzada because of the way he listens and interacts with you. He's very knowledgeable and explains everything carefully and simply.

I tried 10 different offices in one day. I almost gave up. Dr. Calzada called me personally and told me to come in. He is great, easy to talk to and I'm happy to call him my Dr. I will continue to see him as often as needed. Thank you.
