TMS is an FDA approved treatment for depression. It has also been shown to be effective for treating anxiety and PTSD.

TMS offers the patient a therapy that could lead to less medication or even no medication. In most cases TMS has very few side effects and is not associated with weight gain or sexual dysfunction. Dr. Earthman utilizes an FDA newly approved 3 minute express treatment protocol which is significantly shorter than the previous 37 and 19 minute protocols that most TMS providers utilize.

I really wish I would have checked Yelp before contacting this practice because I have experienced many of the same issues. I scheduled my appointment, set up my patient portal and then called, as I was asked to do, to verify that everything was good to go. I ended up calling and leaving three messages three weeks in a row. I didn't hear back until the night before my 9am appointment when they informed me that I needed to fill out paperwork or my appointment would be rescheduled and I would have to pay the cancellation fee. They never did end up calling me to reschedule and I'm assuming

I don’t know why all the negative reviews. I’m part of the Baylor Scott and White health system and they made me wait a week before seeing my PCP and then said it would be one more week before a psychiatry referral... all of this while I was experiencing the WORST panic attacks of my life.
Week went by and no response. Called my PCP who said if it was that bad to go to a psych hospital.
Google, brought up an ad for TMS and Dr. Earthman. I was so miserable and desperate for help that I sent a message to the office. Within the hour I got a call and was scheduled less than a week later for my

They told me I wasn't eligible for treatment. Upon calling my insurance company I was. This is my second experience with this provider. The first experience was when this guy tried to pull me off my functional meds. Do not waste your time. This is so far the worst provider I've ever met. I wouldn't trust him to manage anything of mine.

Dr Earthman is outstanding. After a couple of sessions, he determined I was not taking the right medication and switched me to the right one. It has made a world of difference.
His sessions were quick and to the point, very objective. Plus, if I struggled, I knew I could count on him. He always went "above and beyond" for me.

When I first started seeing Dr. Earthman I was having a very difficult time after my divorce and move, and struggling to make ends meet. I was on medication from a provider, but right away on my first visit he said that the doses were not therapeutic- that they were so low that they would not do anything. He changed my doses and I began to feel better. Even though they are medications I could get at a general provider, the support and knowledge here have been invaluable to me. I also have a new job and it feels like (and is) a start to a new life. I am very thankful.

I am so glad I found Dr. Earthman! Have been seeing him for almost two years. He truly listens to what is going on and is empathetic. He is also very well informed about treating the "whole" person and encourages different modalities of treatment; and, isn't about relying on medication alone. His secretary, Julie, is also super sweet and professional!

I’ve been a patient of Dr. Earthman’s for roughly 7 years. As a nurse, my minimum criteria for a provider is clinical knowledge. If they’re caring and compassionate, great, but not an absolute necessity. I can truly say Dr. Earthman meets all my criteria and then some. Not only does he listen to me and have excellent knowledge of psychiatry and medications, he’s genuinely concerned with my mental health. The entire staff from the office manager, secretaries, to the TMS provider all are genuinely good people with my best interest at heart, which is not easy to find in this day and age. They

I've been seeing doctor earthman since 2010. He and his office staff are amazing. I appreciate that he keeps up with current treatments and offers options like TMS. Julie is a gem and always extremely helpful with my appointments and easy to chat with. Whens my husband's company switched over to BCBS they worked with then to get on contract; when though i would have continued to post full price out of pocket just to start with Dr. E. It's things like this that continue to keep me happy with not only my medical care but also shoe he cares for his patients.

See all these negative reviews? There's a reason for that - he is interested in one thing and one thing only: your money. If you do decide to book an appointment with him, go to his website first and read over his office policies. One of them specifically states that he charges $75 to fill out FMLA paperwork.

The first (psych eval - $350) visit went fine, I wasn't terribly impressed as he was not through and barely asked me about my medical history. We finished up in about 20 minutes and he sent me out the door with a new prescription. The second visit, I brought him my 4-page FMLA paperwork

Nothing but the best care!!! I would still be a patient if I hadn't lost access to health insurance. He listens to you and has suggestions if you want to try a different approach than a bunch of medications. I prefer a more holistic and natural approach and only meds as needed and he was more than willing to work with me, which was such a relief after every other psychiatrist had tried to stuff me full of drugs until I was a zombie but Dr. Earthman heard me out and was very understanding and patient with me.

Although I a please with the care I received from Dr Earthman, the back office is complementary unprofessional. I rescheduled an appointment and a year latter my card was charged with my knowledge or permission for a no show appointment. I had been to the office 5 times sense the missed appointment an no mention that I have an outstanding balance.
The person at the office use rude and unprofessional and refused to consider my case.

Dr. Earthman is a terrible doctor and should be avoided. Went for my initial consultation costing $375 and resulted in only a 10min review of my medical history. He did not ask any questions about my condition or want to listen to anything I said. He refused to prescribe me what I was currently taking from my old doctor and is leaving me with a dangerous lapse in my medication schedule. He did not want to listen to me and seemed disinterested.

Do not go to this doctor

Two stars because Julie is nice. He spent about 10 minutes with me the first time. 5 minutes every time after that. My insurance doesn’t cover mental health treatment of any kind. He continued to require me to come in every 3 months- when I’ve been on my same meds for several years -and he’s expensive. I changed to him in 2014, and I’ve regretted every minute of it. Finally left. (And he has Zero personality) not good with someone who is supposed to at least pretend to want to help. Never again. Adios

Would not recommend. He took me off all of my original meds and waited two weeks to put me on new ones. During the middle of the two weeks, I told him I wasn't able to handle no meds for two weeks because I was a sahm of two children and I was way too depressed. He told me to go inpatient. I went inpatient and did partial hospitalization after as he said, getting on the correct meds. Once I went back to him, he refused to prescribe me the meds the hospital gave me, seemingly forgetting that he told me to go there, and now I am left without the medication needed to keep me stable.
No sense

Dr. Earthman laughed when i came into my follow up appointment after violently throwing up off medication he gave me. I honestly thought i was going to die because i was throwing up for hours and breaking out in sweats. I told him exactly that and he laughed and said i quote "I've never seen that happen before." He's completely disrespectful and honestly mean. his staff members were decent though

Dr.Brian Earthman is the worst Psychiatrist I've ever met. He has no consideration for his patients feelings and is condescending and rude. He left me crying and told me I'm not his problem anymore. Once you pay him he is done with you. He didn't take into account my personal feelings and how fragile I was mentally and instead got angry with me and left me feeling horrible. I had a breakdown because of him. He left me like that when I've been more depressed than ever. If you want a Psychiatrist who has a huge ego and only cares about the money and doesn't take into regard

This doctor is the absolute worst I have ever experienced. They took over a week to call me after I applied as a new patient online. Then his secretary Amy left me a voice mail. I returned her call within the hour and I never heard back from her. Two WEEKS later I left a message for her again. She did not return my call. The next day I got another secretary on the phone. She said they require me to give them my credit card number BEFORE they will see me for the first time. I said that I wished to complain. Then Dr. Earthman got on the line, yelled at me over the phone, using profanity, would not

Well so far i haven't been able to get a call back after filling out info online- left several messages with office manager Amy and June the receptionist. So I feel this is so unprofessional, working for a doctor myself I will definitely spread the word. So sad that doctors are over-whelmed but definitely no excuse for a return call, especially by a manager

When I walked in I was greeted by an extremely warm and friendly receptionist by my name. They have an online portal to fill out all your paperwork before hand--so check in was super fast. The office is inviting, comfortable, and well decorated. Dr. Earthman called me back himself (and on time) and met with me. He had the best beside manner--was super kind, knowledgable, and made me feel at ease. I would highly recommend this office to anyone looking for a psychiatrist.

**AVOID AT ALL COSTS**
I made an appointment to see Dr. Earthman about 3-4 weeks ahead of time. Many red flags started popping up before I even saw the doctor. After filling out the new patient inquiry form on their website, I received a call a few days later. They left me a voicemail and I called them back within the hour. After following the phone prompts to get the person who left me the message (naturally), I recall someone clearly picking up the phone and then hanging up. This happened about 5-6 times. No hello, no voicemail, nothing. Red flag #1.

Second red flag with them was that they

I'm a little confused at all the bad reviews on Dr. Earthman. He is helping me with sleeping medication dependence, and he's been wonderful. He's not a physiologist, he is a Psychiatrist - a medical Dr. who works with people with addictions and dependence - You are not there to talk to anyone about your problems. He's pretty awesome and so is his receptionist, Julie. The appointments are pretty quick. He wants to know what's happening with your meds and how you're feeling. He is there to help you transition off medication with as little pain as possible. That

I've had the pleasure of working with Dr. Earthman for almost a year until I needed to switch providers due to an insurance change. It was an extremely difficult decision and I even considered paying out of pocket just to stay with him.

I've seen some troubling reviews, but most of them seem very situational and based on misunderstandings (The receptionist stays busy but is extremely polite and helpful). Still, the point of this is to discuss Dr. Earthman's quality of care which is superb. He treated my girlfriend at the time, for a very difficult and sensitive set of mood
