It's normal to wonder what we'll do in therapy and how it works, especially if this is your first experience. Learn more about what it's like to work with me.

You have the choice to create an authentic life that you love and to be here fully for it, with your heart, your head, and your body. Therapy for women healing from breakups, separation & divorce. We'll work together in individual therapy to help you connect to your own inner wisdom about what's best for you.
Services
I'm a therapist who helps women in transition to be fierce about loving themselves so that they can fully shine in their lives. I've been an adventurer on the path of personal growth and awakening for over 20 years and have learned a ton about what creates lasting inner change. Professionally, I have a Master's degree in Counseling Psychology from California Institute of Integral Studies.
Whether you are considering a separation or breakup, in the middle of that process, or in post-relationship healing - you are welcome! Cultivate inner resilience, develop fierce self-love, and discover a new sense of purpose. Practice the skill of creating connection with others so you can invite new relationships into your life.
The loss of a relationship is one of the hardest life transitions there is. And, usually we come to it quite unprepared with the tools we need for emotional recovery. The good news is that there IS something you can actually DO! Interested in joining with women in similar situations to share and support, learn about your patterns, and develop tools for emotional mindfulness?.
Ending your marriage or relationship, whether by choice or not, is one of the most difficult and confusing life transitions. You don't have to go through this on your own. Please join us for a facilitated gathering where you can talk about this difficult process with women in similar situations. You'll begin to cultivate inner resilience, develop fierce self love, and create a community of women who can be there for you.
I specialize in working with women who are going through life transitions. If you are going through a breakup, separation, or divorce, struggling with finding your life purpose, navigating the road to marriage, co-dependent or "toxic" relationships, anxiety, depression, or the impact of childhood trauma, let's talk about how therapy with me can help.

My session with Jodie wildly exceeded my expectations for a first session. Her grounded nature is palpable, and provides a rock-solid foundation for work that can quickly become vulnerable.

Jodie seems to be a master of helping people through transitions. At least for me--I discussed with her a hard situation that had been swimming around for years but for which I never really found the words to describe my experience. Until now. In a seemingly ineffable way, Jodie helped me find the words for this dilemma that's been weighing on me practically my whole life, and teased out these different

I practice family law and have connected with Jodie through my work with individuals going through divorce. Jodie is just the kind of therapist that you would want to help guide you through one of life's most challenging and painful transitions. She is empathic, personable, sharp and cares a great deal about her work with clients. The work that she does can often be tough to start, but I think well worth the commitment since it helps you work with others onto your next phase in life. I would highly recommend Jodie to anybody looking for help transitioning through a divorce.

I've known Jodie for years as a colleague and fellow psychotherapist. Through our training together, I've had a chance to learn more about her life experiences and have heard her speak about the impact of her own divorce on her life. As someone who has gone through divorce, I know how much of a crazy, emotional time it can be. Jodie is an authentic, compassionate, and skilled healer who knows this territory through her own experience. I would recommend her and her divorce group to anyone looking for help through separation or divorce.

Jodie is a masterful facilitator. She has a talent for reaching each person in the group, whether large or small. Creating a calming, safe and nurturing atmosphere for each individual in the room seems to come naturally to Jodie.

I invited Jodie to facilitate a session on mindfulness for my Brain Fitness class at City College San Francisco. Jodie was an inspiration and a pleasure to work right from the start in planning coordinating details to tailoring the session to the needs of the group. Not surprisingly, feedback from participants was outstanding. I am grateful for the opportunity to collaborate

I wholeheartedly recommend Jodie Stein and the Coming Full Circle divorce group. I know how difficult a time it can be after divorce. I also know that this is a time of great potential for transformation, healing and growth. I know of no one better to serve as a guide during this process of healing than Jodie. She is an impeccable, insightful and helpful guide and group facilitator. I would not hesitate to recommend this group to any woman who seeks support and healing during time of divorce.
