Beth Leatherman is licensed to practice acupuncture and herbs in New Jersey. She holds a Masters of Science degree in Traditional Oriental Medicine (MSTOM) from Pacific College of Oriental Medicine in New York, NY, and is nationally accredited by the National Certification Commission for Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine.
As a highly effective form of internal medicine, herbal formulas can be prescribed for nearly any ailment or disease that one might have, including dermatological problems, menstrual disorders, insomnia, gastro-intestinal disorders, autoimmune disease, menopausal symptoms, neurological disorders, common cold, respiratory problems, and much more.
Our clinic gets very busy, and while we work hard to accommodate our patients' scheduling needs, there is sometimes a waitlist for popular appointment times. We strongly encourage that you call as soon as you are ready to be seen, in order to schedule your initial session or book follow up appointments in advance.
Acupuncture and herbal medicine have been used for thousands of years to correct imbalances women experience through all stages of life. These imbalances include menstrual disorders, heavy periods and uterine bleeding, fibroids, PCOS, pelvic inflammatory disease, endometriosis, fibrocystic breasts, migraines, hormonal imbalances, menopause, and infertility.
About: Yang style Tai Ji is a slow-moving, meditative practice used to increase strength & flexibility, improve balance, coordinate the mind & body, and improve health. Originating as a martial art in ancient China, Tai Ji is primarily practiced today in a more slow and intentional manner. It can help to decrease chronic pain and reduce the impact that stress has on our mental and physical health.

Twelve Rivers Acupuncture is an amazing place to be when you are having pain. Catherine greets you when you walk in and makes you feel very comfortable. I was having pain with a dental procedure and Beth was able to provide treatments to help me. Within weeks, the pain was almost gone.

I recently moved to the area and I am so happy to have have found Twelve Rivers acupuncture. The treatments I have received have helped me a lot with my chronic neck, trapezius and shoulder pain. I now can drive without experiencing pain in my neck. The acupuncturists are great and the office staff is wonderful. They can help with nutrition advice as well. And now they also have a masseuse on board. All around great place to get you back on track to good heath.

Beth Leatherman is the best! She not only is a wonderful acupuncturist, but she is also a wonderful person. The very first time I went, I had a lot of jaw pain from clenching. After acupuncture, the very next day, I could feel the muscles in my jaw relax. I go every week for various constant pain issues. She always improves my quality of life.

Beth is the most compassionate individual you will ever meet. Not only does she help my back pain issues with Acunpuncture, she treats my shoulder and neck pain as well as indigestion issues and stress issues. She also does cupping when my back or shoulders are really bad. She sits and talks with you to figure out what points she can treat so you feel better. I have been going to Beth for about 3 years. I look forward to my appointments with her. Give her a try... you won’t be disappointed.
