It is our main purpose to offer you a treatment plan that matches your oral health needs, that meets your desires and expectations and that is compatible with your finances. In order to meet all these variables Dr. Cutter's main objective is to get to know you as a patient and as a person. The entire Soothing Dental team performs under the same understanding.
A comprehensive dental exam will be performed by Dr. Cutter at your initial dental visit. At regular check-up exams, Dr. Cutter and a hygienist will include the following: Examination of. Teeth Cleaning Professional dental cleanings (dental prophylaxis) are performed by Registered Dental Hygienists.
I hold a Bachelor of Science degree in Dental Hygiene from the University of Michigan. I have had the privilege to work in this dental practice for over 20 years. I worked with Dr. Robert Evans (founder of this practice), Dr. Ken Hovey and also Dr. Andrea Vivian. What I have enjoyed most is the rapport and lasting relationships I have built with my patients, while always striving to provide an unsurpassed quality of dental care.
I'm the co-owner of Soothing Dental with my wife, Dr. Alejandra Cutter. I am fortunate to work with a talented team to deliver the Soothing Dental mission of comfortable and friendly environment to get and maintain happy, beautiful and healthy smiles!

Dr. Cutter and the Soothing Dental staff is amazing! Where do I start?! My dental hygienist was Sue. She greeted me in the waiting room and walked me back to the exam room. She was so friendly and walked me through the new normal of Covid exams. We went through my health history and then she explained the each step of the process to me. During the cleaning, Sue was gentle and make sure I was okay. She explained to me the health of my mouth and what I should and shouldn't do. Post cleaning, Dr. Cutter introduced herself and completed my exam. She was so sweet! Not only is is she knowledgeable

Dr. Cutter was fantastic and so was her office staff and hygienists. I met her for my first visit with her and she spent time speaking with me after my cleaning and I really appreciated the conversation. She was very professional and great bedside manners. Soothing Dental is a great place to have your dental needs attended to. I have had my share of work done in the past and I would put this practice up against any other. Dr.Cutter is very attentive and very good at her profession. She even has retired dentists come to her for their dental care. From the front desk to the hygienists, this is a top shelf operation.

After decades of familiar and successful dental care my dentist was insensitive enough to retire before I died. We said our goodbyes, I wished him well, and he mentioned his pleasure in finding Dr. Cutter to take over the practice and thought I would like her.

I have never had such an enjoyable experience at the dentist. I always figured there was a limit to how great a dental visit could be, but they're definitely called "Soothing Dental" for a reason! You actually leave the office feeling relaxed and better than you did when you came in! Dr. Cutter is great as well. I could definitely tell that she is an expert at what she does and is a very trustworthy doctor. The other staff is an absolute delight as well. See you all next time!

I would highly recommend this dental office...5 stars! From the moment you step in the door you are greeted by a friendly, professional staff. Doctor Alefandra DeFuentes-Cutter is a perfectionist. She explains what needs to be done, listens to your concerns and works to get the results that you want. Not only will you be pleased with the results but you will be very happy with the manner in which you are treated.
