Shoreline Towers is an amazing condominium building! I have lived/owned here for 6 years and can say the staff here are incredibly friendly and consistly go the extra mile to take care of the building and residents. Also, the views from the building are the best! It's great having a dedicated traffic light, so we can easily turn left or right onto Sheridan Rd. All the corridors are heated and cooled (most building in Edgewater dont have that).
I noticed a couple bad reviews in Google. Keep in mind this building is Shoreline Towers Condominiums, not Shoreline Towers Apartments. Individual landlords

I have lived in this building since 2007 and love my unit. The building staff is beyond great and under the current management, I have found them responsive, respectful of all of my questions and needs are are a delight to deal with.
However, I find that the association board lacks those same characteristics. They are often condescending and fail to relate to many of the other owners and residents of which they are accountable. They keep communications to a minimum leaving residents to find out about changes after it is too late for anyone other than the board to voice an opinion or concern. They

I have been living in this building for more than 3 years now. The lady working in the office building does not do her duty properly. I informed her about problems in my bathroom and asked her to send plumber to fix it but no one came until 2 weeks. So, when I called in the reception and asked about it, I found out that maintenance staff were never told about the issue. She did not even care to inform them even once. What is the point of working in the office if you can't solve problems of the residents. They also ask for renter's insurance within 30 days of signing a lease. I signed lease a month

My apartment had a great view of the lake. This place could use some updating, including the gym and the lobby, but it's still pretty good. Watching the sun rise over the lake never gets old.
Doormen and maintenance guys were nice, and your packages are safe in the package room (though if you miss the hours that they're open then you're out of luck).
Overall a good place!

The doorman I believe his name was (Don) at this location almost attacked me today (02/10/19 @ 12-1pm) for no reason... he claimed my pizza’s were bombs, than threaten to kill me. I think he is on drugs.... plus after I delivered the pizza he followed me to my car and continued to harass me and take pictures.... worst place ever going to file a complaint against building....

I've lived in Shoreline for the past 5 years. I absolutely love living here. All the staff is incredibly friendly, knowledgeable, and will go out of their way to help you. A lot of what people are complaining about on here is standard Home Owner's Association regulations (being reviewed and voted on by the board) or Chicago building codes (heat provided through May).
The one compliant I have lately is the management (Lieberman; so it's not even Shoreline related) clearly not doing checks on the companies they are hiring to do various projects. The sun deck has been out of service all summer and

Today is 05-26-2010 and temperature has been above 85 degrees (actually it is more than 90+ in this concrete mess) for past 1 week. However, management has refused to start the air conditioning. According to them, city of Chicago manadates cooling only if there are three nights above 61 degrees or June 1st. So, no matter if someone dies of heat stroke and that you cannot sleep in night, management will not turn on the air conditioning. Above all, they will not allow you to have your own air conditioner in the unit. Even if you sneak in a portable AC, circuits will not let it run. Real evil people
