Services
In 1947, Jack and Blanche Himebaugh started Fisherman's Trailer Court & RV Park. Their love of Winchester Bay and the surrounding area inspired them to open a facility where families could spend their time enjoying all of the wonders that Winchester Bay area has to offer. Jack Himebaugh passed away in 1980 and Blanche, with her son Jack, ran the business until 2001, when she turned the business over to her grand-daughter Jackie Reagor.
Below is a partial listing of yearly events held in the Winchester Bay, Reedsport, and the surrounding area. For more information regarding any of these events please visit one of the following. People come from all over to learn about the gray whales that migrate past the Oregon coast each year. The Whale Watching Spoken Here(R) program places volunteers at great whale watching sites during watch weeks so they can help others spot the whales.

Almost on the water. Host are very friendly & involved.
*edit 11/2021. Owner hides behind the camp host. She will nickle and dime you. Wifi is terrible! With hours everyday with no service! We camped for 3 years right in front of a run down manufactured home she uses for family. The place is over run with RATS!!! They became a problem for us. Costing us over $400 in damage & she never addressed the issue. In the winter she licks the back bathrooms!!! Leaving only 1 available for the whole park. If you want to park in a parking lot instead of camp this is the place!

Sure, maybe on the high side for just a tent, but the showers were excellent, charged all my devices and got on their wifi, great location for walking around the harbor and village of Winchester Bay, and no highway noise. Jackie is a wonderful host/owner - she located a picnic table for me, then did minor safety repair on it. If you're tenting, this is a great stop-over. I rate 4 stars only because, well, it's an RV park and I'm a tenter!

It was so remarkable and huge. Who would of thunk it could be so grand. I enjoyed it so much. Need a fishing and shellfish license. So many places to try it out. Many restaurants and even an ice cream establishment. Not sure how many are open, thanks to the virus that bites. I encourage anyone driving 101 to hang a left...you will be delighted, I am confident of that!

We are only part time living there. We rent a space year round. This place is the only secluded and safe place to camp or rent full time. You NEVER have to worry about anything happening to your belongings. They have an awesome fish cleaning station and this place is walking distance to DD’s. Jackie the owner is very accommodating. This place is 1/8 mile from the boat ramp and Salmon harbor tackle. I absolutely love this place I just wish they had a kid friendly area with swings and slides for the little ones.

I've camped here 5 times in the past 5 years. I've enjoyed my stay, and I don't hesitate in recommending others camp here, but there are some improvements that could be addressed. First of all, the area for tent camping is basically an open field. This isn't too bad, as the grass is green and lush - but if it's raining it can become a bit of a swamp. Also, water, toilets and showers are only available in one area. It would be nice if walking across the entire campsite wasn't necessary in the middle of the night, if you know what I mean. :) Really, this is primarily a working person's RV campground
