Over time, as oil becomes saturated with contaminants, excess particles are left behind in the engine, where they can form deposits and cause significant wear to the engine. Oversaturated oil loses its lubrication, which will eventually lead to an overworking engine, excess heat, and engine failure.

Another trip to Marino’s auto repair, and another great experience. My 2009 Hyundai had some strange steering behavior, which was difficult to reproduce, diagnose and resolve. The team at Marinos took their time, to ensure proper disgnoses, and when the job was finished, it was done right. Great people, great shop, once again, highly recommend Marinos.

I wanted to send a special Thank you to Dave and Anthony on the timely and special care done to my father inlaw's car. He has a 2004 Chrysler 300. From the air conditioner that needed a shot of freon to cleaning up a botched wiring repair from another mechanic to the inspection. The price was right and I didn't see any of those tell tale sign of mechanic finger prints after the job was done. They have a new customer.

If you're looking for an honest mechanic in Philadelphia, take your car to Marino's. And make sure you know which Marino's you're going to, because there are several. Go to the one on Bancroft.
I had a warranty that was coming to an end, so I wanted to get any covered repairs taken care of before the warranty expired. Most mechanics won't deal with warranty companies, but Marino's stood up and fought for the claim.
Ultimately, the repair was covered, saving me hundreds of dollars. The other issues the car had were fixed with a little elbow grease, and I didn&apos

Pennsylvania state inspection is a hassle, bringing your car to Marino's isn't. Called earlier today, drove over and dropped my car off. Couple hours later the car is done and I can be glad the ridiculous indirect tax from Harrisburg is paid for another year.
Guys at the shop were quick, courteous and did exactly what they said they would. Glad to know there is a good mechanic shop in my neighborhood... I will be back for sure.

Update: Been coming here with my motorcycles for two+ years now. This shop performs consistently every single time. Fast turnaround, fair pricing, pleasant people. I'm a business exec who is very fussy about how I run my business--and I always appreciate it when I seeing someone else doing business the right way. These guys do that.

Had my inspection and some repairs done here a few months ago. It was fine - nothing wrong with the quality of the repairs - but I honestly don't get the high reviews for friendliness and helpfulness. When I dropped off, the guy taking my car was late opening the shop up (meaning I was late to work) and grumpy as anything. When I picked up, the guy I paid wasn't the one who did the work, and he had no real details about what was actually wrong with the brakes ("they were worn" isn't that detailed) and was more interested in getting back to his conversation than helping

When I think of Marino's a lot of words come to mind, but the best one is WOW...I was always reluctant to take my car to the shop because I knew it was always going to be something major and expensive, even if it was just for routine maintenance. However Dave and his team are not only the best, but they are honest and fair. His rates are fair, the service is excellence, and they make it happen. If all my service agents were this good my life would be one of utopia.

Marino's is owned by a guy named Dave. You might have heard of him, a few years ago he staged a protest against Sunoco's gas price hike by giving gas away for free at his old Sunoco station.
Dave hired me to shoot some documentary footage about his story, and we became pals. After closing his gas station (the subject of the documentary), he re-opened the repair shop here.
I still go to Marino's now, even though they're pretty far from my house. Not only because of Dave, but because the guys that work there are total professionals. Anthony is always smart, very nice
