James Campbell High School is a safe, positive place where life skills are learned and applied to meet the challenges of a changing society. They are effective communicators and compassionate leaders who think critically, innovate, and contribute to our global society.
As we continue to push forward, it is important to initially ground ourselves in data so we firmly know where our strength and growth areas are. After careful analysis of our assessment data, it has been determined that our school-wide focus will be on speaking and listening with precision and fluency.
James Campbell High School is on the west side of Oahu. Students reside in the communities of Ewa, Ewa Beach, Ocean Point, and Iroquois Point. The campus includes 15 major buildings, 44 portable classrooms and an athletic complex on 38 acres. Comprehensive programs in the core academics, vocational/technical and special education are offered.
The comprehensive student support system (CSSS) enables all students to achieve the Vision of a Hawaii Public School Graduate. It includes having a personalized classroom climate and differentiated classroom practices. It focuses on prevention and early intervention. There is a support in place for transition.
The expectation is to have the standardized dress tops worn to school during school days. However, optional dress top days may be permitted at the discretion of the JCHS School Community Council-SCC or the Principal. When permitted the optional dress must meet the dress top/dress code regulations. Designs of the dress tops have been approved by the standardized dress top committee, consisting of teachers and students.

Kevin milam grad in 83 first i would like to say i. must applogise that i couldn.t make. it to any of the reunions the only problem that i had over there was that filipino gang another time was when i to use the restroom had this one boy blocking the door & i was woundering what is going on & i soon found out what that was a freakking bomb went off & i guess that.s why my hearing isn.t so good anymore i did not have the chance to say thank you school staff member at the end of the school day my foot got stuck in the lawn edging & that staff member helped me the office & the foot hasn.t been the
