I called the office to inform them that there students were parked on the sidewalk adjacent the Highschool. A lot of foot traffic travels on that already thin piece of asphalt, many of them being August Ahrens Elentary students on there way to the school bus stop on Awalai st.. I've watched these small children and elderly have to walk on the ROAD with all the heavy traffic!!. The office lady oblivious tells me the residents has to call the police?! Like wth. Is it really that hard to let the students know that they need to be courteous & aware of there surro

Campus map is very easy to read. Straight sidewalk in the middle of campus takes you from one end to the other and all the buildings are along the way. Although some of the buildings arnt labeled you can assume whats the library, whats the gym, etc.
New stadium is very nice but parking is very tight. At least the high school is in a residential area so if you have to park off-campus and walk, its do-able.
The gym, which is by the stadium, is clean. Restrooms are clean but with few stalls and they dont use paper towels - only hand dryers.
The gym also sells school gear! Water bottles, shirts

The Waipahu Class of 2015 rocks!!!
Teachers and students invited me to speak about our organization a couple of months ago and now several of these community conscience students are organizing fundraising events and humane awareness rallies on our behalf!
In my humble opinion, teens often are portrayed inaccurately and the students at Waipahu High School confirm my belief. Students greeted my colleague and I before our feet hit the school's sidewalk the morning of our assembly. Genuinely polite, they handled our bags and carts with more respect and efficiency than a bellman at a five-star

Grad 2005! Happy to be a marauder.. Not really...
Teachers that were entertaining were: mrs. Wong, mrs. Shinjo, mrs. Takara, mr. Speed (super smart), mr. Kakazu, Mrs. Vail Matsumoto (discontinued teaching there),
The school changes all the time. At the time I went, the education is horrific - just like most of the public schools in Hawai'i. I strongly suggest taking 1 or 2 languages concurrently with your high school career. TRUST me! This will open MORE doors than you can imagine - typically Japanese and Spanish!
