We're about building 1:1 relationships with clients while working to protect both their peace of mind and their rights under the law. Licensed since 2004, Cheryl has practiced in Tarrant, Wood, Polk, Parker, Williamson, Travis and Harris counties. Our firm performs a wide range of services, including both legal representation and mediation. Few things cause more pain and turmoil than a family conflict such as a divorce, custody battle or child visitation disputes. Worst law firm. Rude and kept interrupting and never fulling answering the questions. Didn't even give me a heads up as to why she was late to the phone consultation until I called in.
I would definitely never work with her again. I am glad I got to see her true side on the consultation and didn't waste another dime on her.

I wasn't very impressed with Cheryl McGirr as she wasn't very prepared for my case. She was more interested in her personal life. I was very disappointed. The outcome of the case wasn't what I had hoped for or expected. I wish she would have referred me to someone else who had more experience in the matter.

My poor choices got me to a place that I needed legal help. Though McGirr Law Firm / Kama Harris were court appointed they (including her wonderful assistant Allison) treated me as if I had paid them thou$ands. In marriage there are many times where things go terribly wrong. My husband and I have been married for almost 10 years and we have three small girls who are absolutely wonderful. Ms. McGrirr is wonderful! I originally sought her representation for a passport for my son and a legal last name change for him. After sitting with her, I decided to ask for sole legal custody and she was able to help me get all three! She's a straight shooter that gets the job done.
