Dr. Kim grew up in San Francisco, attended UC Berkeley and received degree in Genetics. He then pursued his dental degree in University of the Pacific Dental School in San Francisco. After graduating with honors, he served in the US Navy as a Navy dentist with the Marines in 29 Palms for three years.

I'm late with this review but better late than never. Over the summer I switched from this dental office to another one. I had one of the worst dental experiences of my life at this place. They have absolutely no bedside manner. The dentist handled my mouth like it was a piece of meat. Gave me nothing to numb me before actually sticking those huge dental needles in my gumbs. During my procedure when I started tearing up and showing obvious signs of pain the dentist acted as if that displeased her. My mouth was sore for over a week after visiting this place. My current dentist performed way more

Horrible bedside manner. Dentist gives inconsistent information. Dentist won’t return calls. They will make up a problem just to make money off of you after first telling you there is no problem. They take a long lunch break but leave their doors unlocked and then criticize you for coming through their open doors. No diversity. I recommend going someplace else.

I've been coming here for 8 years and as much as i don't want to go to the dentist, this office makes that anxiety better. They're always friendly, they have never tried selling me on something i didn't need, and they have done all they could to accommodate issues I've had come up. I will only go to this office.

Dr. Kim is hands dowm the best dentist I have ever been to. He doesnt upsell you on things that aren't needed so when he says you absolutely need something you can trust him. The staff is always friendly and I never wait in the front office for more than a few minutes. I highly recommend Pointe North Dental.

I have been coming to Dr.Kim for over 15 years, I have had a couple of extractions and implants done aside from my check up and cleanings, I have always been completely 100% satisfied, from the moment you walk in you get welcoming smiles and you can tell the level of professionalism and team work in the office. Dr. Kim has ALWAYS been straight up, direct and the point and the man has a very soft touch when he is working on you but also a firm handshake (that means a lot to me) I have referred several friends to him and everyone to this day still thank me for doing so. Best Dentist in my book.

I love this office so much. Dr Kim really takes the time out to explain everything that he's doing. The staff is always very friendly and get you in and out!!!! I love everyone that works here! Both Dr.Kim and his staff are extremely welcoming, and I've been coming ever since I was a little kid. We have been going to Dr. Kim for years. The office staff is great, pleasant and accommodating...i have never had difficulty getting an appointment. Not only is Dr. Kim our dentist but he has also done my kids braces. He is a perfectionist! Need I say how my daughter's teeth turned out? My son just started the process. He is the only dentist that I have gone to that was successfully able to numb my mouth so that my experience was painless! We love him!!
