We are a Westerville, Ohio martial arts school offering quality Taekwondo training for ages 5 & up as taught by Olympic-medalist Master Greg Baker. Taekwondo is a Korean martial art and Olympic sport. The name "Tae Kwon Do" is derived from "Tae, " which means to kick as with a foot, "Kwon" which derives from using "the hand" to strike or block, and "Do" which means "the way" or "the art."

It can roughly be translated as "The Art of Fighting with the Fist and Foot." Many martial arts schools limit the student's understanding and level of focus solely on teaching the physical movements of Taekwondo in order to allow the student to participate in tournaments or to protect themselves in a fight.

I have known Master Baker since the early 1990s from Master Choi’s school. Master Baker cares a lot about his students learning Taekwando and Martial art. I started learning martial art in 1977, and I highly recommend Master Baker’s school for any skill level students.

Baker's Taek Won Do Center has showed me how to respect my family, friends, and teachers. He has taught me to defend myself against man made violence and to protect friends and family from danger. Thank you!!
