My lawn care service suggested A1 for replacement of my stop and waste value in Oct 2020. They did a good job on that. It seemed that recently the ground surrounding the area was collapsing and was appearing perpetually damp, so I called and scheduled an appointment to have that checked out and have my sprinkler system checked out. A check-up on the stop and waste was no charge; the rate for checking out the sprinkler system is $105 per hour labor, parts extra. Perfect. Wayne called the day before my appointment to see if the stop and waste could be checked by their technician. I was not needed

I was late to call A1 sprinklers to repair my sprinklers & have them turned on for the season. Originally they said they could come out the third week in June. I was pleasantly surprised when Gage showed up four weeks earlier than anticipated. He was very friendly & helpful. Demonstrated where he had repaired the broken lines & replaced sprinklers heads. And helped me reprogram the timer.
In another instance, last summer I had an emergency where the sprinklers would not turn off (due to a broken valve). I called A1 and they walked me through the process of how to turn off the emergency

Guy showed up half of a day late, complained about his workload, told me he was too tired to finish after less than 60 minutes at my house. He returned later to finish the job and claimed he had finished the job before leaving. Immediately after he left I noticed 2 sprinkler heads were then leaking. They had never had problems before and were in fact the best sprinklers in my yard.
The guy's attitude was so horrible that guests we had visiting when he showed up are STILL talking about him. I overpaid for a job that wasn't finished and the guy couldn't even be bothered to smile

A1 came out to turn our sprinklers on for the season. A technician told me that he could not get the sprinklers on because of a plumbing issue. We called two plumbers to check into this plumbing issue, and no plumbing issue could be found. When I called A1 about this, they took no responsibility. We were charged $105 for a 20-minute visit in which we were told that they could not find the issue. And they I was told that if I wanted them to come out again -- after being given wrong information -- that I would be given no discount, rebate or concession. I had an 8:30 am appointment and Forrest was here by 8:20!! He was very personable and knowledgable. He understood exactly what I needed and told me the best way to make it happen. He went right to work and got my sprinklers fixed and ready for the summer heat. Forrest made sure that all my questions were answered and even had some suggestions that I had not thought about. This is my second appointment with A1 and I will be calling them in the future. I would recommend this company and hopefully you will be as lucky as I was and get Forrest as your technician.

I've dealt with A-1 Sprinkler since 2004, and have always had great service from the technicians. Not only have they kept my irrigation system working successfully, but they have also shared information with me on how to maintain the system myself. (Yes, and I am a "girl.") All of the technicians have a professional attitude, and do their work thoroughly, consulting with me before they make repairs or changes.
Customer service has always been great.
I'm not sure why folks have written negative reviews. And I guess everyone has different expectations and assumptions.

I usually don't write yelp reviewers, but A1 has treated me so poorly over the last week. They have cancelled THREE times. Once was due to weather, but the other two cancellations were last minute cancellations in which I had to call them to ask why they hadn't arrived yet. I had to miss work because of these cancellations and they didn't offer any discount. I expected more from the most expensive company in the area.

A one sprinkler scrambled to my home on Sunday afternoon to fix a cracked sprinkler manifold that was spraying water everywhere. It wasn't their fault but there was no charge and they're going to fix it next spring. Their service is the greatest. I would recommend them to anyone who needs excellent sprinter work.

Don't use this company! They schedule me for a morning appt between 9-12. I stayed at home and when no one showed by 11:30, I called and asked what the ETA would be. I was told they got held up at an earlier job and it would be around 1pm. 1pm came and went and by 4pm, I was angry and had given up. At exactly 5pm, the serviceman came and he did go through our sprinkler issues and was very nice and did good work. However, I called the company and left a message about my terrible scheduling experience and was told someone would call me. No one ever called until someone called to collect

I had just moved into a new house with a bad sprinkler leak, and called several sprinkler companies for an appointment. Only A-1 answered their phones. I was happy to hear that they could send a technician out the next day, to arrive between noon and 3pm.
So, I took off work to go home to meet the technician. They never showed up, never called, nothing. If you want to waste half a day waiting for a sprinkler guy who won't show up or even call, then A-1 is the place to go.

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!!! A1 is a complete rip off. A technician was at my home for a total of 5 minutes and told me they needed to order a part in order to fix the issue. After going back and forth with this company regarding the part (which is actually no long manufactured), I ended up calling a local company who came out, replaced the leaky valve in 1/2 hour and charged me less then half of what A1 had quoted me. On top of everything, I received a bill for $95.00 for the "service" A1 performed and when I tried to speak with their office about the bill, I was told they couldn

I had 5 bids from various installers and there's was the best. They started on Thurs. afternoon, worked Fri., Sat., Mon. and finished on Tues. AM.. I am very satisfied with the installations and the quality. I would recommend this company and their installers. Jose the crew leader was great, he made sure everything was correct and complied with code. As far as I am concerned, you only get what you pay for.

Highway robbery is not the word. Wayne (the owner) uses the cheapest parts and labor but charges the highest prices. Be wary of a1-sprinklers. I made the mistake of having them come over and change out a few heads on my sprinkler system. Ended up with holes in my lawn that I had to fix myself. Not to mention the sprinkler tech who came to my house was rude and seemed to be under the influence had to come back multiple times and never really completed the job. All and all I spent over 150$ on repairs I could have done myself. So if you don't want to throw away your money I suggest you do your
