Virtue opened its doors for business in early July of 2010 to quick acclaim. In 2011, 2014, and 2015 the shop was voted best tattoo shop in the city of Houston. Virtue is located in the heart of Meadows Place Texas off of the Southwest Freeway at West Airport Blvd just a few minutes from Houston, Sugar Land, Missouri City and Stafford Texas.
Body piercing at Virtue Tattoo is performed in a private piercing room, as to make the experience more relaxing and efficient. The body piercers have at least 20 years experience each. They continue their education constantly to ensure that they are up to date on all techniques and safety standards.
The tattoo shop has thousands of tattoo designs to choose from and will spark tattoo ideas for many tattoos to come. We have American traditional tattoo designs from the likes of Sailor Jerry, Ed Hardy, Mike "rollo banks" Malone, and Lee Roy Minugh just to name a few.

I got my ears pierced by Paul today after years of avoiding piercings due to a bad experience. Paul was super patient as I relayed my piercing history to him and 100% assuaged my fears of having a repeat. He very graciously answered all my questions before we started and told me exactly what to do to avoid developing scarring and told me if I had any issues to come back to him. I came in for a tattoo consultation with Ellen. I didn’t have a specific tattoo I wanted her to do, just a general idea of what I like . She took pictures of what I already have and drew something up for me and I loved it . She was able to fit me in same day which made it even better ! She even took the time to come up with some great ideas on how we could finish out my sleeves and do a cover up as well. The shop was clean and Ellen was great. I will definitely be going back !

This shop is very clean and professional and I always have a positive experience coming here. Every artist you talk to is friendly and knowledgeable and I love getting tattoos from here! Damian Ellen was my artist and she is so talented and fun to work with! She brings my ideas to life and I'm already planning my next tattoos for her to do! Amazing place. The people are friendly and kind, and the place has a great atmosphere. Just got my first tattoo here which was super huge, but my tattoo artist made sure I was comfortable and made sure to check on me periodically during my 1hr 40min session. I'm so in love with my tattoo which was done by Nate and it was for a great price too.

Ericka was my artist. She made it an amazing experience. It was my first tattoo, so I was super nervous but she asked me if I needed anything before we started, checked in during and definitely made sure I felt prepared to take care of my tattoo afterward. I was tattooed by Ericka at Virtue Tattoo and she is hands down the best. I use a wheelchair so getting a tattoo is a little more challenging for me than the average person. Ericka didn't even bat an eye. She worked with me and was so understanding. She's a beautiful artist (found her on Instagram and loved everything she did; her handle is @batesbites) who really cares about her clients. The shop is clean and the staff are super professional and inviting. I can't wait to finish my piece. You are missing out if you don't make an appointment with Ericka.

This place is absolutely amazing. I have severe trauma from a tattoo gone wrong. When I went in, I was so nervous. My MiL and I were getting matching tattoos and my fiance was putting a deposit on his. I told the owner how I had severe trauma and they made the experience so much better and much less terrifying. I highly recommend Cabos. He did all of our tattoos and they look stunning! We will definitely be back! If I could give 6/5 stars I would.

I went in today to to get 2 piercings done & they were so friendly & patient. I didn't get the lady's name in the front but she was the sweetest & went through each earring choice with me. They have a variety of styles to choose from which I loved! Tim was really nice & walked me through the process & it was almost painless, definitely recommend & I'll definitely be back!

Had an appointment with Helen today. My boyfriend did a walk in with Ellen. They were both FANTASTIC! We were greeted when we walked in. Everyone we interacted with was so nice. Helens work is amazing. I would recommend her to anyone and everyone. Ellen did an awesome job. They were both patient and made sure we were comfortable with what we were getting. The shop itself was clean and well kept!! I never felt uncomfortable or like a burden (like some tattoo shops make you feel). So worth visiting Virtue. Although, we didn't get piercings we saw about 4-5 different people walk in for piercings

So, I have gotten my ears, navel, and nose pierced here. Tim the one who does the piercings is one the kindest people you'll meet. The quality of their jewelry is top notch, no tarnishing or wear even after years. Their tattoo artist, however, will rip you off. I had a asked for simple tattoo idea, no shading, or crazy details, and the guy charged me 250! When I literally have a much more detailed, and shaded piece that only cost me 150! It could have been that individual tattoo artist, so I can't speak on the shop as a whole, but I would definitely recommend price checking around first

Tim has been putting holes in my face for over 20 years. Anytime I need a new one, or some ink, he always has someone for me. Last night I needed a duck tattooed on me. I came as a walk in and was immediately greeted by Tim. The first thing I noticed was how clean the shop was and the wide selection of flash designs and body jewelry. I came in for a nose piercing on the right side and Tim was more than happy to help. I chose an opal stud for my nose, and couldn't help but notice how many other beautiful choices there are for other piercings. Tim took me to the back and explained how everything would be sterilized before getting the piercing and I appreciated that a lot. It gives me peace of mind to see everything getting sterilized rather than being unpackaged

This review is about the piercing services at Virtue. I've been to see Tim several times to pierce my conch, flat, nose, eyebrow and earlobes and he's amazing. He is really helpful and well informed in explaining aftercare, logistics about your piercing, and the sanitization process of the jewelry. Getting pierced by him is quick, sanitary and (almost) painless, and he doesn't use a clamp or a gun. I've also seen him for problems with my conch and eyebrow piercings, and he effortlessly fixed them with no charge. I literally do not trust anyone else for my piercings! Also the

Apparently they do not tat the side torso if it's your first tat. I wanted a letter R with the infinity sign on my hip. Brian said they wouldn't do it bc I would move. I'm a grown woman first off, not a child and I assume you're not supposed to move during any tat. My friend wanted a 5 letter word with a tiny heart and he said $150 and her tat would have to be much larger. . We ended up leaving and went to Horitian Tattoo. They did my first tat for me for $70 and not only did my friend get her tat done, she got two for the $150 virtue tat was going to charge. I absolutely love

I was referred by yelp, and I was hesitant coming here to get my tragus piercing. I usually go to claires at the mall to get my ear's pierced because they're cheap. but I decided to go somewhere professional and certified for my cartilage piercing. coming in I'll be honest, I was nervous. Great place! Jimmy did my tat. He was very helpful. He explained the process very thoroughly since it was my first tattoo. There was no wait since I got there at opening. The whole process was smooth & quick! I knew just what to do since it was explained. After care directions were given on a piece of paper, along with ointment for healing. He even took a picture after & airdropped it to me before wrapping it up. The shop is very clean. I loved it. I've had no issues with my tattoo. I will definitely be back!
