Legacy Summer Day Camp program provides a chance for children in ages 5 through 10 to have a fun-filled summer! Our camps are located in the heart of Harlem on 127th street and Lenox Ave and our Queens Camp is located at PS 135 in Queens Village. Our mission is to give families from all communities the ability to enroll their children in a summer program of quality and affordability.
Our campers are given the opportunities to explore, learn, make new friends and be active in a safe environment. Your child will engage in sports, outdoor adventures, arts and culture as well as visit many of New York City's rich cultural and educational institutions.

First, Let me begin by saying this review is way overdue. My son Richard began attending Legacy Summer Camp (Harlem) about 3 yrs. ago, and it's been amazing every summer. I was scouting around for a reasonable, productive and small(er) summer camp. After hours of calling around to other local camps that were too expensive and full to capacity with waitlists, I came across Legacy on google and submitted a Registration form. I received a call from Mr. Edison who was very informative, professional and welcoming. He was also very interested in knowing my son's interests, personality

My son woke up every day excited to attend Harlem Legacy Camp where he encountered friends, great social skills., trios to the zoo and some of NYC finest museums, every day more excited then the next.. Since COVID-19 my son has been home schooled and basically just was home with little interaction with other children, in fear of contracting coronavirus.. I barely let my 5yr interact with children his own age. But the children wore mask daily. My son and I will definitely miss Harlem Legacy summer Camp as the summer comes to a close my son has telephone numbers and play dates to look forward too

This was our first year with Legacy Camp and we were so happy with our decision. Never has my daughter been tired from camp/afterschool. I appreciated the various activities, trips, and resources they used within our community. Edison and his team are awesome, and communicative. We plan on returning for the next years to come.

This camp was a Godsend for our four year olds at a fraction of the cost of other summer camps. My daughters loved Legacy. They got to meet new friends, go on weekly field trips and perform in a Lion King production. The staff were friendly and I loved the ProCare app for communicating everything needed. If you are looking for a great camp, consider Legacy.

Legacy was a great option for my child this past summer. She was able to experience many different things, team building, great friendships. She was able to go on many trips throughout the city. I also enjoyed that the camp was very strict with the COVID guidelines. All campers and staff had their mask on at all times. Their communication was excellent. Whenever I had a question, I received a response in a timely manner. We hope to be a part of the camp next summer!

I know given all the new protocol it must have been a tough adjustment to open back up but Legacy Harlem Summer Camp did an amazing job! I am very happy my daughter was able to attend. She shows me her soccer moves all the time and mentions wanting to continue playing. I felt safe sending her and she came home every day so happy and tired from all the activities. The curriculum is great and the soccer program keeps them very active. See you next summer!

My daughter attended two other camps in Harlem and I think this is the best one. We originally were going to My Time Summer Camp but they closed unexpectedly last year. The staff at Legacy registered my daughter and even helped us register other parents that were inconvenienced because the other camp closed. Legacy is great! It's central in Harlem and there aren't many options since other camps are pretty far and kinda expensive. Signing up was pretty easy and dropping off my child was not bad. Parking is a little difficult but the staff did a great job of allowing campers to sign in at the lobby

My daughter has participated in The Legacy Summer Camp for the last two years....and has enjoyed her experience both years. Last year they added the soccer camp which she participated In and loved. She would come home and tell us about everything she learned. She does not like to miss a day, they always have activities for the kids weather rain or sunshine. They always keep the parents informed and ensure that the kids are having a great time.
