The air conditioning unit in your vehicle operates similarly to a refrigerator. Your vehicle's air conditioning unit is designed to move heat from the inside of your car to outside of it. The refrigerant carries heat. In modern cars, refrigerant is a substance called R-134a. Older cars' refrigerant is called r-12 freon, which is more expensive and difficult to find than R-134a.
Your vehicle's battery is the source of electrical currents necessary to start the engine. The battery provides power to your vehicle's accessories and electrical parts; it allows them to operate even when your vehicle's engine is not running. Additionally, components such as your engine and starter rely on the battery for power; they cannot run without a properly functioning battery.
Brakes are pretty much the most important safety device on your car. If you've ever partially lost your brakes in the past, you'll agree that it's not something you want to experience again. Inspecting your brakes twice a year for wear and damage can protect you and your passengers. Additionally, it will also help save you money by catching any damage before it becomes too costly.
The best way to prevent long-term and costly problems with your vehicle is to keep up with its preventative maintenance schedule. One major key to successfully making sure you are doing all you need to do is to read your vehicle's owner's manual. Regardless of your vehicle's make or model, its owner's manual will contain a maintenance schedule.

I don't normally get my annual safety inspection done here, but I was driving by, so I took it in. The safety inspector failed me on the basis of an exhaust leak. He told me to take it to their mechanic and get it fixed and come back. Instead, I took it to my own mechanic, who found nothing, and then took it to another safety inspection place, where it passed easily. It sure seems like they tried to defraud me to get repair shop business.

My car’s engine light came on while on the freeway (6 hours away from home) and it would not run. I found this place through AAA and they were amazing. Glad they were open during the holiday weekend. They were courteous and got the work done. Cesar took care of us. Thanks guys!!

Convenient place for gas and a reliable spot for service. I stop here for car work every once in a while and as I have mechanics in my family, I know what I should be charged. The prices are reasonable and the work is what they say it is. Haven’t felt scammed yet and will continue coming. Folks that work there were welcoming to me - I know they went through a staff change so can’t speak for employees before.

I took my car here for a VA Safety Inspection on February 2019. Their safety inspector (Abdullah) failed me, citing defective SUSPENSION. He also took down my contact information and a few hours later left me a voicemail for a $1200 cost estimate to replace the suspension. The following day I took my car to the dealer, paid another $16, and passed the VA safety inspection.
As far as I am concerned they tried to cheat me for $1200 and still owe me $16 fee for the original inspection.

I used to go here routinely for oil changes. The regular cashier and mechanic were straight to the point and never bothered me with extra work recommendations.
But then I went a third time and was met with a new cashier. Didn’t catch his name unfortunately. After I picked up my car, he recommended that I do a radiator flush as well. He even put the recommendation on my receipt and wrote it was recommended to get it serviced every 3,000 miles. Do they think that because I’m a woman I don’t know how cars work?
For those who don’t know, the general recommendation for getting a radiator flush

My wife recommended I take one of our vehicles to this Sunoco station because they assisted her once before and performed excellent work. I had a similar experience today with a vehicle inspection during which the gentleman performing the inspection was able to make minor corrections in order for my vehicle to pass (replaced a rear bulb and unfogged the headlights). They also took the time to point out exactly what I need to have done within the next few months and gave me a respectable ballpark figure for the services needed.
I think I have found my new service station for ALL of my vehicle needs

Really poor / expensive mechanic service. Brought my Jetta in here about 6 months ago for a simple rough running issue. They charged by $99 for diagnostics and then top price to replace plugs and wires. The issued turned out to be a bad ignition coil which I found and replaced myself after I got the car back. I spoke to the mechanic, while he was polite, he did not seen to be very knowledgeable ( certainly didn't do $99 worth of diagnostic work) In addition they told me the check engine light was cleared by the work they did but it was on when I picked up the car. Very disappointed. I spoke with

Non-existent customer service. Rude and ignorant mechanics.
I went there to have my vehicle checked out. The only mechanic available was Abdul who would not even talk to me about my car. When he finally decided to speak he did not seem one bit interested to tell me what exactly is the car issue, how long it will take to repair it or anything that I should know. He just stated that I need repairs. Really? I think I figured that one myself. Please avoid at all cost, there are so many mechanics in this area. This gas station shouldn't even call itself that.

I never review but these guys are great. Service team is awesome, always quick friendly and honest. I mainly get oil changes, inspections here, I did get an timing belt done and the actual price was far cheaper than the quoted price as the job didn't take as long as expected. They always offer to replace air filter etc but I always say I can do that myself and they are great about it.

Excellent Service I've had my Buick Park Avenue & prior to that my Toyota Camry, serviced at Fairlington Sunoco for years and they have always taken care to do only the necessary work while keeping me informed of services I will need, and when I will need them. I've always been treated with respect and received a competitive price.
I took a 2,000 mile trip last summer and had them go over the car to be sure I would not have any problems, and they found a rusted brake line that was missed in the Maryland Inspection. I was going to be going through quite a few mountains in West Virginia and Arkansas
