Please note our minimum stay for weekend is normally 2 nights (or 3 nights in some busy or special weekends). Once you have completed your reservation on our booking page, you will be directed to the payment page to make your payment in order to secure and complete your booking.

Our page Rates 2021 and Rates 2022 display our rates for the midweek and weekends as well as weekly rates for various seasons. Our weekly rates are for stays of up to 7 days or more. You can also go directly to our online Booking Page which will calculate for you the rental for any rental period for your chosen dates, before you commit to any booking.

Canadice and Canandaigua are rustic log cabins. Each cabin has 4 bedrooms, 4 bathrooms and can sleep up to 12 people. Rates are based on 8 people occupancy throughout the year except summer season rates which are based on 10 people. Cayuga, Seneca, Keuka and Owasco are brick-built English style cottages.

This is an annual pilgrimage for my husband and I along with his siblings and their spouses. We get to spend a long weekend with views of the lake and wine tasting. This year there was a fast moving snowstorm that turned our regular routine into a winter wonderland. Inside this beautiful and cozy cabin we had great food and wine, endless conversations to catch up and a gorgeous moonlit sky (and another celestial event...a lunar eclipse). Bed Bugs - Arrogant and condescending owner
Seven of us stayed there in the fall of 2017 and while the cabins were nice, the presence of bed bugs ruined our visit to the Finger Lakes. When found we immediately contacted the owner who dismissed the notion that his cabins could be invested with bed bugs. He also went on to state that his cabins have had bed bugs only one other time. He then "explained" to me that bed bugs were the fault of guests, not property managers.
We stated that we had photos to prove our claim.
Only then did he offer to have his staff come and spray the next

I recently stayed here with friends of mine from college for a bachelorette party. The place seemed lovely, until one of my friends broke out in what we thought was an allergic reaction. After she visited the doctor, it was confirmed to be bed bugs. Four girls stayed in that room and we threw away anything and everything we thought was contaminated. My one friend suffered over 150 bites all over her body and was in a substantial amount of pain for over a week after that. Something we've learned about bed bugs after this situation is that the bites can turn up up to 14 DAYS AFTER YOU'RE

Bed bugs! As I write this, I am completely and utterly revolted. I stayed here for a bachelorette party, it was great until I thought I found a tick on my pillow. I was wrong it was a bed bug. My friend and I who stayed in the bottom bunk have quarter sized welts all over our extremities. I have had to take off from work, was put on antibiotics and steroids and now am going to have to call an exterminator to check that I didn't bring them back that may home in Long Island.
They have denied any responsibility even though I have never had bed bugs and this is the only place I've stayed

We (family of 5 plus a dog) just spent a week in cobtree and it was everything we were looking for - a well-stocked house with plenty of room inside and out, a quiet place with a nice view and a chance to spend time as a family. Lots of things to do, although due to the size of the lakes keep in mind that many things are 40-60 minutes away. Jane was very helpful in making sure that we would have a great stay.

comfortable and well appointed. A lot of little extras were included to make our stay that much
nicer. The view over Seneca Lake is FANTASTIC!!!! Geneva is an active college town with many local wineries. Try one of the Italian restaurants for a "taste of home" cooking. We will definitely be returning next year. Thanks for the great stay!

We were a little apprehensive back in October 2008 when we booked out first week at Cobtree. It was the first time we made reservations over the Internet. Well, we loved that week so much we have just returned from our eighth visit.
The setting is exquisite –farmland, woods and a beautiful view of Lake Seneca. Yet 10 minutes away is Wegmans and a number of fine restaurants. Each day we choose a different State Park or waterfalls as our destination –with stops along the way at the wonderful Finger Lakes wineries. And we have our lovely cottage or cabin at Cobtree to come home to.

We stayed at Cobtree several times and we enjoyed very much each of our stay! We tried both cottage and cabin and they were all well maintained and equipped with everything we may need at home. Rooms were clean with fantastic lake views from porch and windows. Beds were very comfortable. The resort is so beautiful, quite, well managed and close to many attractions nearby. The owner Robert and Jane are very nice and friendly couple. They were always around and helpful when we needed them. They worked hard to make our stays pleasant memories.

As far as cabin rentals go, this place is gorgeous. Spacious and quiet and serene. My family and friends stayed in the Canadice house and it was great.
However we weren't a big fan of the hot water situation. The water in the showers either came out freezing or scalding, and it was very difficult to get a good temperature; when we managed to get the water comfortable it didn't last long. My mom called the rental owner and he said it has never been a problem in the past (hmmm... unlikely) and questioned our ability to moderate the heat in a shower. I've been showering for the better

Just stayed at this cottage with a number of my friends from grad school for the wedding of our mutual friend. We had a wonderful time while we were there, and loved the property. It's also beautifully located - while I went out for a morning ride around Canandaigua Lake (Quite hilly, not for the faint of heart!), my partner rode down to the lake for a swim and into Geneva for a relaxed breakfast.
In the excitement of the wedding we managed to lock ourselves out of cottage; the owners' son was preparing a bonfire for other guests nearby, and let us in before we had thought to call them

I stayed recently at this site and found the accommodation superbly furnished & everything you need kitchen wise too. The site overlooks Lake Seneca. And you are a two hour drive to NIAGRA FALLS and near the City of Rochester. The owners Robert & Jane an English couple give you the warmest welcome & area wealth of information of the local area. Make sure you put this at the top of your list when planning your vacation. In that area.

Buyer beware!!
I was searching the internet for accommodations for an upcoming family reunion, naturally I turned to Yelp!! What I found for Cobtree was a recent review that was less than desirable so I emailed the owner, Robert to let him know and what I received from him was dialogue that was vulgar and inappropriate. So we had a few email exchanges, he tells me that those guests were less than desirable and that had never happened before. This was after he accused me of being the one who wrote the review. On the contrary, I was just letting him know.
