Shangri-La is an absolute gem in the fingerlake region. Ed is so warm and welcoming as well as full of knowledge about the technology and surrounding nature. Staff was also very nice and very accommodating.
Our stay was fabulous and we are looking forward to planning our next visit.
We stayed at the South Bunk House and it is perfect for a family trip with the dog taboot! All the amenities combined with the wildlife, duck farm, pond and trails are a recipe for the perfect getaway to relax and enjoy family.
Ed thank you so much for the stay and see you soon!

Spent a nice relaxing week at the north bunkhouse with my gf and cat. When we first checked in everything was spotless and extremely clean, due to the pandemic they leave the houses unoccupied for at least 4 days prior to a new guest check in and do a great job making sure the house is clean and prepared. Kitchen is fully equipped, there is sufficient hot water, washer/dryer, great wifi speed, smart TVs equpped with netflix, hulu, etc....and above all everything is solar powered... the north bunkhouse also has a great view of the muscovy duck pond, and there are also nice trails around the property

I would like to thank Ed, Dan and Patrick for a wonderful weekend that we had in Shangri-La. Everyone was so friendly, helpful and kind to us. We were traveling as a company of 4 adults, 1 y.o. and a dog, and we were all feeling welcomed. We were all very happy with our stay.
We stayed in North Bunk House, it was very comfortable, clean, with plenty of amenities. We were surprised how high tech this place is (solar panels, great wi-fi, cameras of the area that you can monitor on TV, etc.). This place is very peaceful, quiet and close to nature. We saw many domestic and wild animals around (ducks

The owner, Ed, was warm and welcoming, and was always willing to chat about the animals that inhabit his property and his clean-energy projects. I stayed in the North House with four friends. The house was gorgeous and very well maintained. There were two porches off the house, ample parking for 4 cars and a large fire pit with seating and all the wood you could burn! The house also has an enormous master bath and an eat-in kitchen with a breakfast bar.
There are numerous fire pits throughout the property, picnic areas, and a system of incredibly well-kept trails that connect all the houses on

I cannot recommend this place enough for anyone looking for a relaxing get away.
I stayed in the North House with four friends. The house has two porches, an enormous master bath, and a beautiful fire pit with seating and all the wood you can burn. We easily fit four cars in the driveway.
The property is home to a LOT of wildlife. I saw bullfrogs, Muscovy Ducks, cats, skunks, squirrels, and numerous other birds. A member of our party even saw a black bear cub! Oh, and the raspberries and blackberries that Ed grows on the property were delicious.

This place is beautiful, a wee bit expensive but feels great to help the environment with solar panels, all natural items, and cozy nice sized common areas. Loved the trails, duck farm and mini lake. Very quiet and lovely time to spend with family. WiFi was fast and helpful considering there's no signal

I have always wanted to go to Shangri-la. Fortunately, My husband and I have had this opportunity recently. With the promise of a seamless mixing of technology and nature without one being at the expense of the other, this lovely hideaway in Naples, NY offers a beautiful escape and comfort. We stayed in the North Bunk House by the pond where ducks, deer, chickens, a rooster and a friendly bear (we unfortunately didn't get to meet) kept us company. Organic coffee and treats, plush towels and a clean and comfortable house, a great location (away from it all and near Finger Lakes towns and wineries
