Northwest Family Physicians in Charlotte, North Carolina, established in 2000, our dedicated staff strives to deliver personal care and service to all of our patients. With over 40 years of combined experience, our physicians have the knowledge and training to care for most of your medical needs. We have on site lab and x-ray, as well as access to specialties all over the region.
Northwest Family Physicians has been dedicated to caring for others for more than 20 years. Our team focuses on family medicine for our patients in Charlotte and surrounding areas. We see everyone from newborns to geriatrics, and provide well-patient and minor surgical care. Our staff handles physical exams, including pre-employment, worker's compensation, DOT and sports exams.

Dr. Larsen has been my primary care physician for about 9 years. He is fantastic, so I regret to submit this bad review. However, I have been “putting up with” the extremely, unnecessarily rude front desk staff for about the past year. Around 90% of the time, when I call or visit in person, I speak to someone who is rude and treats me as a nuisance. When I arrived for two of my most recent visits, I stood at the front desk without being acknowledged by the person behind the counter; right in front of me, for an absurd amount of time. Sadly, because of these issues, I am looking for a different

Been at this Physicians office since moving to the area in 2016. However, finally decided to make the change due to being left without my blood pressure medication for over a week due to a 15 dollar balance. Something as simple as a phone call could’ve easily remedied this. Lack of concern once speaking to the office manager made my decision for me. As a medical professional for over a decade, due diligence is very simple yet wildly effective. However the blatant lack there of about landed me an otherwise healthy 30 yo in the hospital for a simple balance.

I've been a patient of Dr. Larson and Northwest Family Physicians for approximately five years. 'Great experiences each time. The organization has always been on time, easy to schedule, lazer focused on any medical issues I present and very convenient to where I live and work. 'Concierge medicine without the the concierge prices.

I have been a patient of Dr. Larsen for over 25 years. He is very thorough with his patients and takes the time to sit and listen his patients. Does not rush you out the door like many practices do. The staff has always been very professional and friendly both in office and on the phone. I highly recommend his practice!

Dr. Larsen and his staff are absolutely amazing. I feel very comfortable and cared for every time I walk through the door. He is very thorough and efficient. This office uses the Healow app and all of my results and records are listed with personal notes from the doctor. Also, I have rarely waited more than 5 minutes past my appointment time. They are punctual and prompt. Highly recommend!

I love the location, very convenient to my home. The sign in staff is welcoming & very pleasant. Waiting area is very bright & clean. The lab nurse shows concern & puts me at ease. Dr. Norton's nurse is efficient & works quickly. The questions that she can answer are answered without hesitation. Dr. Norton is very helpful & knowledgeable. She gives details that I can understand & always answer my questions to my satisfaction. She makes the necessary referrals to specialists for my well being. Any medication concerns from pharmacy are handled promptly. I am very pleased.

Totally my personal option, The upfront staff is alright, you are greeted, the lobby is normally quite, there are two main Dr's to this practice. I have Dr Norman she is kind, however I somwhat feel like she is rushed when I see her, I do enjoy her nurse, I am able to have a very detailed conversation about my symptoms. My husband has Dr Larsen, he says he is a good listener and so far he enjoys his Primary care physician. I did notice the rooms being a bit dated and not as clean as I would like. Overall the practice is alright, normal wait time is average.
