Split a pita so you have 2 rounds. Butter the inside. Flip and lay both rounds so you are looking at the outside part. Place the cheese on the smooth side of the pita and top with the other round (Smooth sides should be together/Rough sides on outside). Place in pan over medium heat on stovetop and toast and then flip.
