Services
We send our pontoons out from 9 AM - 5 PM. The pontoons are sent out with a full tank of gas. You are responsible for refilling the tank with gas when you return to the dock. To rent a pontoon, please call 828-488-6423. We do not take reservations for hourly rentals, however when boats are available we will rent pontoons for $100 per hour plus tax and fuel.
Each cottage has direct satellite TV, a shower bath, electric heat, air conditioning window unit and a private front porch facing the lake. Our one-bedroom cabins consist of one room with two double beds in the sleeping quarters and partially separated from the rest of the cottage by two built-in wardrobes.
Our RV Park is a family-oriented and pet friendly. It is a great atmosphere where you can get away from it all! We are open from April through October. We have full hookups (water, electric, sewer), and each site includes a picnic table, and pads are gravel with grass. Our spacious sites can accommodate upto the largest RV.
Lake Fontana is surrounded by pure wilderness, with the Great Smoky Mountain National Park on the north shore and the Nantahala National Forest to the south. The 29-mile long, 11,700-acre Tennessee Valley Authority (TVA) lake has more than 240 miles of shoreline. And its deep, cold waters provide the ideal habitat for a variety of fish.
Next time you are planning to spend the day on Fontana Lake, do yourself a favor and rent a boat from the good folks at Almond Boat & RV Park. We're sure glad we did! We called ahead and reserved a pontoon boat for our group of six for seven hours. When we arrived that morning, the wonderfully sweet owner asked if we wanted to upgrade to a new boat and, of course, we did.

Fantastic folks and very helpful. They also handle boat registrations for the area.
It's a smaller marina but they have the basics, everything you need for a day of fun on the water!!
They also rescued me when my boat refused to crank. I was stranded on the water. I called them and Logan came out and towed us back.
Great service!!

The ladies in the office were very nice but the guy at the dock was quite rude. No one told us about the red clay and the $50 charge if you get it on any part of the boat at all. It took 2 minutes for the guy to spray it off but he sure had to talk down and treat us very bad while we were exiting the boat. Aside from that guy we had a wonderful family trip and everyone was wonderful in Bryson City. Also, the lady in the front said you give $100 deposit and you get it right back when you return boat but at the dock they take fuel money out of your deposit.

We spent the day in a sparkling clean 2012 Godfrey Sweetwater that had a Honda 75 four-stroke engine. Except for lunchtime and a few swim breaks, we rode around all day and only used about a half of a tank of gas
