Emily Miye Onoshi, LMT has been in private practice in the city of Cupertino since 2007. Her specialization includes working with clients that have a need for therapeutic massage such as those who have physical disabilities, athletes (sport massage), pregnant women (prenatal/perinatal massage), and busy Silicon Valley techies (corporate massage).
Many of her physically disabled clients have had Strokes, ALS, Cerebral Palsy, Bells Palsy, and other neurological damages. She is a big advocate on stretching and will often incorporate stretching into the massage therapy sessions. Being an athlete herself, she does have a tendency to attract other athletes as clients who want a massage therapist that can relate to or understand the physical demands of an athlete.

My comments are long overdue as my husband has been seeing Emily for ~12+ years so that says alot how satisfied we are w/Emily's services. My husband is a stroke survivor and his PT recommended Emily early on during his immediate recovery (one never totally recovers from a moderate+ stroke). Emily has been providing massage stimulation to his weak side and also guides him through various balance and stretch routines. I also provide routines from my husband's periodic PT visits and Emily tries to integrate them into her 2x wkly sessions. In addition, Emily also sends a note describing what routines

More Mobility's Emily Onoshi does not provide a spa massage. Rather, she guides your body to repair itself. She’s got an astute knowledge of physiology and kinesiology and brings it to bear on those painful muscle, tendon and ligament injuries and aches to reduce the inflammation that causes pain.
In the course of her bodywork, I've found my body realigning itself so that the pain I walked into her office complaining about is gone by that evening. Example: my right knee hurt (probably ACL) each time I walked upstairs. After Onoshi worked on that side of my body, my knee seemed to be tracking

Emily is awesome - I hired her for my mom who was in the hospital for a few weeks and her rates are very reasonable considering she drives over to the hospital and only charges a small travel fee. It is nice that she also wears gloves right before so her hands are warm. She also can do 30 minute massages which is great because most places won't do that if they come to you.

I went in last weekend for my first massage with Emily and I was so impressed by her knowledge and experience. I've been getting massages for years from very reputable massage therapists, but Emily knew what to look for and what to focus on, beyond what I thought was the problem. And she's just a wonderful human. I can't wait for my next session with her.

Emily is the only massage therapist I trust to help my body recover from the stresses of working out and life! I've been going to her since 2012 and recommend her to my wife and all my clients. We always 'touch base" with my trouble areas and she intuitively provides the perfect balance of pressure to take away my muscle tension. I can literally see my muscles recover every week I see her from my workouts and I partially attribute my competition success to her working on my body's recovery process. Thanks for all the help Emily!

We hired Emily to go geriatric massage/ mobility therapy for my father who suffers from strokes and has dementia. Emily has been seeing my dad biweekly for three years at his assisted living facility where she brought her massage table to him. I can't speak highly enough of Emily and how she improved my father's overall well-being while improving his mobility and decreasing his fall risk. Despite having severe weakness on one side of his body, my father never had a serious fall. I attribute the decrease of this serious risk to her work with him.

Emily is friendly and professional. She's great at assessing her patient's needs and addressing them. She has a wonderful understanding of which muscles need to be dug into a bit more and which require a more gentle touch. I've had other massage therapists dig in so hard I wanted to punch them in the face because my body didn't want that at the moment. There is no face punching urge with Emily!
Her studio is clean and tidy. It was a comfortable environment and I was able to get nice and relaxed. 10/10 would go again!

Emily is an amazing masseuse, strong communicator, knowledgeable, and knows what shes doing. She's one of few massage therapists that I've met who always has a willingness to learn knew things in her profession. Always attending seminars, applying her experience to her clients, and feeling amazing after your session is complete. Highly recommend More Mobility.

Emily is wonderful! She pays attention to what you need and she really cares about her clients. She knows how to find the trigger points to relax your muscles. With a great personality, strong hands and a lot of knowledge about human body, she can make you feel 100% in only one session.
I highly recommend her :)

I have been getting massages from Emily for the better part of the last decade. I can't believe it's taken me this long to let everyone else know why I've been going to her for so long.
For me it starts with a massage therapist's ability to instinctively know where you are sore before you even do.
There are times I come in for my back (a chronic problem from my years of high intensity workouts, and genetics), and Emily then finds other areas that are in desperate need of a massage without me having to tell her. Better yet, before I even know they are sore.
The results speak

I went to her for my birthday and it was a wonderful experience... She really loosened up some of my tight muscles.
