I love this restaurant! Everything my husband and I have tried has been excellent. I highly recommend starting with oysters (they have a large selection of west and east coast varieties) and the Chilean Sea Bass for an entree. They make an excellent cheesecake with a creme brulee sugar topping that is the perfect end to your meal. They also have a great happy hour from 3-5 daily which has their oysters at half price. They usually get very crowded on Saturday so making a reservation in advance is a must.

Salt Seafood and Oyster Bar is hands down one of the best restaurants in the area. From the moment you walk in, the staff are extremely hospitable and communicative. The food is nothing short of delicious and creative, the atmosphere is young yet sophisticated, and the service was absolutely impeccable. The staff was attentive, yet not overbearing, and everything came out in a timely manner. The host was wonderful, and the managers ensured that every guest was treated like royalty. I could say so much more, but I think my point has been made. I will definitely be back soon!

My friend and I met up here for dinner and holy cow were we not disappointed! First of all, this place is an absolute must for making reservations ahead of time, otherwise you’ll be crowded at the bar or waiting a very long time for a table.
We started off with an assortment of oysters which was extremely fresh and delicious, you’ll have more than 6 different choices of oyster representing both the east and west coast varieties. Our server did an amazing job recommending oysters for ones we weren’t sure about. We also had a couple of oyster shots with tabasco infused whiskey which was absolutely

I took my wife to SALT to celebrate her B'Day and she LOVED every aspect of it. The atmosphere was very nice, very festive but low keyed. The receptionists were very cordial, our wait time for a Friday night was short (reservation a must). Once we were seated our service was on point, the food was delicious, even the Sparkling water (which was served in a quaint bottle) was delicious. The portions were just right for us (no doggie bag). And the desserts were great. The only draw back was parking, the 1st parking lot we tried was full to the hilt, but we LUCKED UP and found a spot on the street

I love this place forever and always. It is such a (very busy!!) hidden gem tucked away in New Brunswick but is my absolutely favorite place to dine. The happy hour specials are also especially good, especially the 1/2-priced oysters, the drinks, and all the food. So yeah, everything.
For dinner this time, we got the octopus appetizer (AMAZING), and two fish dishes - I don't remember but I always ask the waiters what's good and I have never been disappointed by a recommendation.
The fried calamari is always a great pick - it's so unique with those tiny little popping peppers. Crab dip is also

Beautiful seafood restaurant with the best assortments of oysters. Wine list is limited HOWEVER the prices per bottle were definitely economical. Service was great and if you order the cheesecake dessert, you'll get a little fire show. PS cheesecake was out of this world!

Salt Seafood & Oyster Bar is in the heart of New Brunswick. The ambiance was intimate but also bursting with energy. The menu which is curated by Chef Alex Guarnaschelli is quite impressive featuring small plates that were delicate, flavorful and fresh. The cocktails selection was exhaustive, a little bit for everybody.
If you are in the area and want to enjoy good vibes and delicious food, check out Salt.

Been trying to get into Salt for about a year with all the Covid restrictions we finally got a reservation. Me, wife and my sister inlaws came and we had outdoor seating but its really isn't outdoor because the outdoor space is enclosed. It's more like an extended indoor space than an actual outdoor space. We checked in and was seated within minutes. Now after waiting for a waiter for almost 20 min with only water we asked for a manager. The manager came over and I explained that we were sitting for almost 20 min without anyone coming over. He offered to take our drink order and put it on the house
