The Halal Guys' incredible journey begins in 1990 with our three Egyptian founders. They first started a hot dog cart in New York City, then pivoted to selling halal food to Muslim taxi drivers who at the time had few outlets for authentic halal food in the five boroughs. Worst experience I ever had. Never come to this place because:
1. You wait for a long time, even there are only 3 Persons, in the queue. Employees are too slow.
2. Hot meat is taken in one cold bucket from where it is served...why? What is wrong by taking it directly fresh from the source? So stupid!!!
3. If the chips are lying there for a long time, then make new ones BUT do not serve them to the customers!!! Done for me.
4. Cold meat is added to, of course, cold salad and old chips.
5. The "amazing cold" White sauce is put on the cold meal and makes it perfect! Yeah, stupid meal is ready

Well where shall I begin, we traveled 45mins to this branch after after hearing about company's success in the gyro style, me and the other 5 we where not greeted with a hello or a smile, just looks of unwelcoming eyes by the two African workers. Man and woman ( sorry to label as I dont know their names but want the owner to know about our stomach aching experience) the meats tasted stale as it was sitting in the bane marrie pots for a very long time it felt and rice had a very pongiey smell and tasted off also. Great food but HORRIBLE location. Kayle was extremely rude. She rushed filling the plate and made no eye contact. I ordered the larger size and took a pic of how much she gave me, it felt she gave me less so she did not have to make more beef for the next customer. She gave me half filled spoon. When I usually order I at least get 2 full scoops. It was only around 7:00PM and she was rushing us out the door. When trying to scan my app she got angry and yelled " lower your phone". I was confused and asked her "what?" She once again yelled "LOWER YOUR PHONE" I asked

Managed to make it just before closing time and staff were happy to continue service. Mixed platter was very nice, reasonable price and combo platter size was okay. A little more spice and flavouring on the meat would go a long way further but we're perfectly fine however I had a lot of the white sauce. I had a small amount of the red sauce, didn't find it majorly hot. All in all, the food was 4/5. I think ideally its 5/5 if you visit earlier on. The chaps serving were good

Nothing special, box standard average. White sauce and hot sauce makes the food taste ok. Too much salad very small amount of meat. It's pre-cut like subway it supposed to be fresh. It's nothing like the way they make it in America.Falafel wrap bread was thick and hard. Expensive for a meal that lack's equality and taste. I wouldn't go there ever again.

HOT SAUCE burns! I can eat spicy food but don't overdo this sauce!!! Went in the morning just after it opened, ordered a combo platter for £8.99 and a refillable drink £3.95. Price is a bit steep for what you get, so it doesn't feel like value for money as it still feels takeaway style rather than restaurant food.

Visited on Thursday 29th. Great tasting food, friendly staff and an overall pleasant experience.
That red sauce is lethal! Caution is advised.
I didn't get to try halal guys in NYC but, this did live up to the hype in my opinion. Would visit again.
Had the platter and fallafel wrap both of which tasted great! Recommend for those that eat meat and vegetarians too :)

Order two combo platters via Uber eats and got what you see in the picture below. 1/3 the amount of rice, maybe 1/2 the amount of meat. Tried calling to complain and it goes straight to voicemail and says "the mailbox is full". How does this make any sense at all. We've order from multiple locations before and never had this happen. Ruined dinner. Won't be going back to location.

I ordered the Combo Platter today which is chicken & beef. It comes with lettuce, rice, tomatoes, chicken, beef, white & hot sauce. You can also add peppers and onions too I believe. I got 2 lines of the hot sauce....I forgot how hot it was!! LOL - but it was good. Tasty food and I'll definitely be back.

The kitchen is very loud, so you kinda have to shout over the noise to place your order. I tried the meatless gyro for the first, and last, time. Very little meat in the sandwich -- not that it mattered because it was bland, essentially tasteless. Fries are decent and the staff seems like they'd rather be anywhere else. I get working for low wages sucks, but if you're gonna be there anyway, why not at least act interested?

I have literally just got into my car. This is the first time I try this restaurant. I asked the person there if he could please give me extra white sauce in the little containers he looked at me up and down and said no. It has a cost. I said fine no worries. Charge me. He did and literally while I was paying another woman asked for the white sauce. Looked at her and gave it to her for free. I WAS STILL THERE PAYING AND EVEN GAVE HIM A TIP.

Assured me all my meals were included in bag. Drive home, which was 25 minutes away and missing a meal. Not a huge deal. I was fine but called to ask for a refund. They said they had my meal right there so knew they forgot to include. They had to call me back but eventually said they would refund. Credit card statement shows and no refund. So I call and they claim they did it but will call me back. Said too bad "we did it" and you will have to dispute with your credit card company. Wow. This is bad business.

My husband got combo platter and I got gyro sandwich. I typically like my gyro shaved instead of chopped but given that it was flavorful it was a nice difference. The gyro was more flavorful than the chicken. The combo was enough to be two meals. The fries were pretty typical but fresh. Its a little pricey for essentially fast food. The sauces are definitely the best part and this alone would have me eat here again. I was disappointed they didn't have curbside ordering at this location so we had to do delivery.

So our friends who live there told us where to go which I don't remember the exact location. This was 5 yrs ago. Fast forward to current day, Halal Guys are now in Dallas. I went to the first location in Dallas when they first opened and was not impressed especially with the BBQ sauce. The best

If you haven't been to halal guys, I definitely think you should at least once. You have to get one of their meat entrees (chicken, beef, lamb, mixed)that comes with salad, yellow rice, pita and meat. You also have to get the white sauce and red hot sauce but careful with how much you get cause the hot sauce is hot!
