Children's Time Child Development Center is a family owned childcare and early education program in South Portland, Maine. Our program serves Infants, Toddlers, Preschool and School-Age children. As a center-based program with a family childcare philosophy, we provide individualized care to children of all ages and abilities within a warm and loving environment.
The owners are on site every day participating in all programs and ensuring that your children are receiving the highest quality of childcare possible. Our Director can meet with you personally and answer any questions you may have about our program. Services
Children's Time Child Development Center is a family owned childcare and preschool program located in South Portland, Maine. As a center-based, family childcare program, we offer individualized care to children of all ages and abilities within a warm, loving environment. The owners are on site every day participating in the program and ensuring that your children are receiving the highest quality of childcare possible.
Whether we want to or not, most of today's families find it necessary to work at least part-time if not full-time, in order to manage. This requires us to place our young children in childcare and entrust their well-being to others. With this necessity in mind, we have created an environment for young children that is warm, comfortable, and enriching.
Our Infant and Toddler Program offers full and part-time care to children between the ages of six weeks and two years. These mixed age groups will allow your child the opportunity to bond and grow with their providers without having to change classrooms each year. We believe this is especially important to our younger children who thrive on consistency and can have difficulty adjusting to change.
Our preschool age program offers full and part-time care to children between the ages of three to five years. This mixed age group will allow your child the opportunity to bond and grow with their peers and teachers, without having to change classrooms each year. We believe this is important as this will allow your child to form consistent friendships.
If so, chances are they're ready. These are all signs that your child is ready to expand his/her creativity and begin the journey to being a part of a structured learning environment. Our preschool program serves children between the ages of three years through five years and is held Monday through Friday, from 8:45am to 12:45pm.

My daughter goes to Children’s Time since 5 month old. I really love the care they provided. It’s a really great place. I would definitely recommend to anyone who is looking for child care. I one of those that look on peoples reviews on what ever I am looking for. This is why I am writing this to all those who are just like me. You and your kiddo with love this place. The people are just great!
