A chemical peel is a process where a chemical is applied to the skin and penetrates into the outer layers causing a slight peel. The new skin underneath appears smoother and finer in texture. As someone with doctor anxiety, I’m writing this review to hopefully help others with doctor anxiety and trauma find the right practice for them.
The doctor didn’t ask if he could start the examination, he just grabbed me and started without my consent. Then he barely let me get a word in to explain my situation before he spoke AT me, not with me. I had to finally interrupt him to express my concerns (which were dismissed because “he’s seen it all before”). I was met with no compassion or empathy and left more distraught than when I went in. I strongly recommend going somewhere else

The office is a complete combination of welcoming and professional. Both LoBuono and his staff greet you upon seeing you creating a nice environment to come into. Likewise, I find Dr. LoBuono to be very helpful and efficient when seeing patients. At least for my needs, he seems to be very knowledgeable in his diagnosis and procedure.

I've been to multiple dermatologists, none of which had been able to help me. Within 5 minute of my visit with Dr. LoBuono he knew exactly what was going on and was able to develop a course of treatment. Truly he is experienced, honest, and personable. I would recommend him, especially out of other dermatologists in Monmouth County.

Dr. LoBuono is a wonderful doctor. He is easy to talk to, and always listens to my concerns and offers effective recommendations (he also has excellent recommendations for local restaurants!) The condition of my skin has improved significantly since I have been seeing him. Additionally, the office staff is extremely friendly and accommodating. I have never had an issue with a delayed or canceled appointment, and have always had pleasant interactions with the receptionists in person and over the phone. I will continue to see Dr. LoBuono as he is an incredibly professional and experienced dermatologist
