From skin cancer screening, acne treatment, Botox and fillers to cyst removal and MOHs surgery, we are equipped to handle all your dermatological needs. With the increase in Skin Cancer over the last few years, Dr. Karakashian has treated many skin cancers and has had training in surgery as well as dermatology.
Your first visit to Dr. Karakashian's office establishes a vital foundation for our relationship with you. During the first visit, we make sure to obtain important background information, like your medical history, and give you time to get to know your doctor. You'll find all the practical information you need, such as a map and directions to our office, practice hours, payment policies and more.
We make it very easy to make an appointment with us. You can either call us, or e-mail us and we will call you. Once you make an appointment, we do request that you take your appointment time seriously, since Dr. Karakashian is reserving time specifically for you. We ask that if there is any reason that you cannot keep a scheduled appointment, please give us at least 24 hours notice.
The American Academy of Dermatology recommends that, regardless of skin type, a broad-spectrum (protects against UVA and UVB rays), water-resistant sunscreen with a Sun Protection Factor (SPF) of at least 30 should be used year-round. Have been going to Dr. Karakashian for years for both cosmetic treatments and skin health. The cosmetic end of things: I have had great results (just look "better" not too tight etc.) and very reasonably priced. For skin health - he is very thorough and explains the diagnosis and treatment well. Highly recommend.

Jury is still out. While in the waiting room, prior to my first visit, I had to listen to an older gentleman behind the desk literally cursing about another patient. And not quietly. Seems he likes to curse and share patient names when collections aren’t where he wants them. Then takes out his anger on patients in the waiting room, yelling out to each asking if they have a co-pay and if each has reached their deductible….classy.
For me, I visited for a growth on my arm, and rather than remove it, as requested, the dr took half. Said to call back in two weeks if I hadn’t heard back. Called

After discussing my options at multiple places, including various medi spas, I decided to see Dr. K and I am very happy with my results. What I appreciated most was his honesty. Most places will go with whatever you want and tell you the "look" you're after is fine, and that is wrong! Dr K gave me suggestions I had not considered and advised against what I was looking for and gave me his honest opinion on what he felt was the best for my face shape. I am so glad I listened to him! Not only do I look better but no one can even tell or notice which is what you want!!!

I originally went to Dr. Gary Karakashian for a spot/growth on my daughters Head. What I observed is a staff working hard to fit in appointment requests and a doctor who’s attention to detail was astounding. I’ve heard people complain about wait times but I believe it’s because his bedside manner is so knowledgeable and encouraging that he stops time for each and every patient. He listens and answers all concerns and that takes time! I for one am willing to wait for that kind of treatment. My own procedure went beyond my expectations. I’m not family or acquainted with Dr. Karakashian. This

I am usually a little wary of Groupon docs, however, after seeing the glowing reviews from other patients I decided to give him a try. His Botox prices are very reasonable and from the first moment, you can tell he is passionate about what he does. Dr. Karkashian is personable, knowledgeable, and gave me beautiful natural results that even my significant other notices. That alone is a major feat! Will definitely see him again. Thanks, Doc!!

I am a big fan of Dr Gary Karakashian. I have been to him more than a dozen times, his work is done quickly and it is excellent. His is very calm, friendly and soothing to visit. His office staff are all very nice people who are caring and nice to see each time I go there. This doctor listens, takes care of stuff, gives honest answers, and checks on his previous work.
