Beware Mulqueen has it all. Products, technical services, top brands. What it lacks is customer service. I called ahead to ask about pinking shear sharpening. The woman answered with "oh we do and we do it here!" I thanked her and said I would bring mine in. Brought them
In and the woman at the register said you need to talk to the man that takes in the machines. After waiting for the gentleman to come back to the desk I asked how long this service would take
Two weeks he said. I asked why so long and he told me they were only servicing machines. I asked the women at the counter about it and

Picked up the machine today. Won't use it until the weekend. The problem was the machine was worked on sometime back and was not used for many months. I was informed that the machine required periodic use even if it's just plugged in and cycled for a few minutes. The machine seized up from lack of use. The best thing is, I'm getting smarter every day. Not their fault.

Wonderful advice on my heirloom quilt repair. While I did not think of this solution the lady helping me did.😄.
I needed to repair quilts binding and went to the Mesa location in search of a Kona solid for the repair. Found a great match but her advice was to make a new binding leaving the old (25+ years old) one in place. Cover it with the new fabric she advised. This way the old binding would "puff" up the new one and provide the stability I needed. Why I didn't think of it... Dumb! And I can do it all by machine with only a little hand finishing. Woo woo!

I stopped in at this store for the first time this morning and couldn't believe the size of the place and the great selection of sewing machines. I wanted to take every one of them home! This place has everything you'll ever need for sewing. The staff was fantastic and the available deals were incredible. I am hooked on this place after just one visit and will do all of my sewing shopping here. I live over one hour away but who cares! It's totally worth the trip. I even hugged the young lady that helped me. I believe her name was Kim. Such a sweet person and very helpful. Thank you for my new Janome

I am so pleased with the service here. I have been here on several occasions, they have helped me troubleshoot an issue with my machine and then I finally brought it in for service. I was pleasantly surprised when my machine was returned to me in perfect condition, working well, and I was charged the price quoted. They didn’t try and upsell any new items for my machine, and had it ready quickly. I’m looking forward to bringing my budding seamstress so she can check it out!
