I brought my off the rack dress, a two-piece, to Helena with less than three months to the wedding. The top was a size 12, the bottom a size 14, and I am a size 6. I was absolutely convinced there was no hope my dress could be finished by my wedding, at least not looking exactly how I had imagined it but I was very wrong! Helena is the nicest most humble person, which is hard to find when you're planning a wedding. My dress was perfect. She even added my belt and loaned me her fur bolero. I will forever be grateful to her. Thank you, Helena!!

Where do I start? She’s the best in every way! She works on every suit of Mine and it’s an amazing experience every time! She’s always on time, always finds time to fit me into her schedule even when she’s packed back to back!! She treats me like her son every time I go in and I will never go anywhere else for my clothes to be done.

My boyfriend and I searched and searched many places to give us measurements for his suits and we were surprised to find out that those services were almost impossible to find. We called Helena and thankfully she was able to help us on short notice and gave us measurements quickly and professionally. The environment was great and Helena herself was very friendly and kind. We definitely want to go back to her for alterations in the future - it was a joy meeting her and having her help!

Five stars are not enough! Helena is a gifted, talented, amazingly creative seamstress. I could feel her warmth over the phone when I called to make the first appointment with her. From the moment my daughter and I walked through the door, we were not only greeted with a smile, but we were treated with absolute kindness, respect, and it truly felt as if we were spending time visiting with a relative. Helena is an amazing woman! We brought our daughter's wedding dress to her after receiving the wrong size and many other issues. She accepted us with open arms and really worked hard to make sure our bride was happy and beautiful. Her sewing/alterations/miracle work was so impressive! We cannot thank her enough, as she worked on a very tight timeline and made the wedding dress look better than new!! I've been to see Helena twice now and after the first time, I knew I had found my forever seamstress/tailor. She is so friendly and caring -- insisting I call her Mama Helena :) -- but also so upfront with the work she will be doing and how much it'll cost, I know that I can trust her. I was blown away by how efficient she is too! No matter what she had to adjust or how many articles of clothing I gave her, she said it would be ready in a week. This was super important for me b/c one of my items was a bridesmaid's dress for a wedding right around the corner.
