Maryville Acupuncture is a holistic wellness clinic specializing in the ancient arts of acupuncture and Oriental medicine. These centuries old practices can relive the pain, stress, and ailments that keep you from living your best life. We are Maryville's first and only acupuncture practice. Our team of board certified acupuncturists all hold master's degrees and are licensed practitioners in Tennessee.
Your body has an incredible ability to heal itself. Our practice works to encourage that process, and to restore balance through the use of acupuncture or other modalities. Patients experience increased blood flow and circulation, increased endorphins, immune system and hormone regulation, and an increased sense of well-being and stress reduction.

Services
Founded in 2019 by long time area acupuncturist Sarah Prater, Maryville Acupuncture was created to give more East Tennesseans holistic, integrated medicine options. Prater has more than a decade of experience in acupuncture, devoting her career to supporting couples struggling with infertility at her Knoxville practice, The Tennessee Center for Reproductive Acupuncture.
We'll begin with a thorough overview of your health history and concerns, and create a treatment plan that fits your needs. We take time to answer your questions, and walk you through what you can expect from your experience. During an acupuncture treatment, very fine, sterile needles are gently inserted into specific points on various places on the body according to your diagnosis.
We offer safe, comfortable, and effective treatment through acupuncture and Chinese Medicine for many common symptoms ranging from pain and stress to headaches and digestive issues. We look at your whole body, mind, and spirit for patterns of symptoms that help us determine the best treatment and/or lifestyle recommendations to help you achieve your health goals.
Cancellation Policy: We take special care in finding the best appointment time for your treatment plan and schedule. If you need to cancel for any reason, please kindly give 24 hours notice. If you are unable to give us this notice, you may be charged a $50 cancellation fee to be paid before your next appointment.

Kate at Maryville Accupuncture is probably the nicest person I've ever met. Not only is she extremely knowledgeable and professional, but she keeps you entirely at ease (even if you're running late)! She is very attentive and always remembers our session goals and delivers the highest quality of care. I can't recommend her enough. If you have issues that massage and physical therapy can't help with, please give Kate a chance! My wife & I both love her!
