If you've never tried massage, learn about its possible health benefits and what to expect during a massage therapy session. Massage is a general term for pressing, rubbing and manipulating your skin, muscles, tendons and ligaments. Massage may range from light stroking to deep pressure. This is a gentle form of massage that uses long strokes, kneading, deep circular movements, vibration and tapping to help relax and energize you.
This massage technique uses slower, more-forceful strokes to target the deeper layers of muscle and connective tissue, commonly to help with muscle damage from injuries. This is similar to Swedish massage, but it's geared toward people involved in sport activities to help prevent or treat injuries.

Took my son there for acupuncture to relieve knee pain from Osgood's disease and a lot of baseball catching. Got relief almost immediately after the 1st treatment and only received a few more treatments for complete relief. Rebekah cares about the whole person and is very knowledgeable, comforting and professional and really gets invested in her clients. I recommend them highly.

Rebekah Knause is a wonderful acupuncturist. She is extremely kind and very intuitive. She put me at ease right away since this was my first experience with acupuncture. I felt a huge change after my first treatment and I am officially a believer in this eastern medicine modality. That is saying a lot since I am a registered nurse.

I have been going to see Rebekah for over a year. By far the most skilled masseuse I have ever had work on my body. Their professional studio is inviting and comfortable. I have been treated by most of the therapists at Balanced You and can say confidently, that there is a consistent level of quality that permeates their culture. Whatever they are doing, they should just keep it up. I play soccer a couple times a week. At 48 years old, my body does not snap back after a match the way it once might have, but a trip to Rebekah sets me straight and has me ready for my next match. My positive experiences

I have been going to Balanced You to see Rebekah for 10 years. She is simply the best! At the beginning of each visit she asks where I need the most focus because she truly cares about providing relief to troubled areas. Rebekah has been a life saver for my neck, shoulders, low back, legs, and feet. I’ve never left a massage without feeling tremendously better. I highly recommend Balanced You to everyone!

The BEST Massage therapists in Knoxville. When you leave, you feel relaxed like you are when you are on vacation. I have scheduled with Rebekah and Stephanie, and both of these ladies are GREAT!!! They understand pressure points (my language) and how to give relief to those tired, sore muscles. I carry my stress in my neck and shoulders, and a massage is part of having good health and healing for me.
