Magic Fitters offers In-House fittings for all your tailoring and alterations needs at your convenience. Please note that booking and service fee payment is required in the minimum 48 hours prior to appointment time. The confirmation and invoice will be sent to your email address within one business day after reservation.

I had to have a quick turnaround since I planned my wedding in three months. By the time I received the dress I had three weeks left. Oksana literally came in and a week and half later the dress was perfect and I didn't need any additional alterations. She was also very accommodating with the time restrain I had. Would def recommend her! She was also a hoot to work with, no way you can keep a straight face with her! :)

I can't say enough great things about Oksana! She did my wedding dress in just 1 appointment, quick turn around and it fits like a glove! More importantly she was such a dream to work with, my mother wasn't able to come to the fitting due to Covid which I was nervous about, but I immediately felt comfortable with Oksana. She made suggestions without being pushy or opinionated and also listened to what I wanted and reassured all my concerns. Highly highly recommend!!

They did a great job at a good price, and they even picked up and delivered my item.
I had a shower curtain that was too long and needed hemming. Some other shops quoted me excessive prices for what should be a pretty simple job since it's a straight line, but magic fitters was one of the few with a good quote. They were responsive, and the price and timeline were exactly as they told me upfront.

It was such a great pleasure working with Magic Fitters! I brought my wedding dress in for alterations over a year ago and due to COVID my wedding got postponed. Oksana was very accommodating and extended my alterations time frame. They were very detailed and quick on getting my dress altered. Today I went to pick up my dress and it looks Amazing! I just want to say that thanks to Oksana and her team at Magic Fitters, I had an absolutely gorgeous dress. Tailor Irina made all the necessary alterations to make the dress simply perfect. The atmosphere at the fittings was so welcoming and calming that I wasn't worried about my wedding day. I also want to add that I am even more appreciative of the Magic Fitters because they had my dress ready on a very short notice in the midst of pandemic.

I've been using magic fitters for all of my bridesmaids dress needs and they are amazing! Super speedy and they can easily look at the dress or item and let you know exactly what needs to be altered to make sure you leave looking your best. I went in thinking I only needed a hem but they were able to alter the top of the dress to make it fit even better than I expected. I trust them with all of my alteration needs and totally trust their opinion.

They did a fantastic job with my wedding reception dress (hemming, tightening/adjustments around the top, adding cups etc) under a short timeline, meticulously fitted it 3 times to make sure everything is right (versus trying to give something to me that works but isn't perfect). They listened to my concerns and requests patiently every time. Thank you for making sure my dress is as perfect as it gets!

I went to Magic Fitters for wedding dress alterations. From the very first appointment, the ladies were phenomenal! They were friendly, welcoming, and explained in great detail how they would work on my dress. I looked forward to all my fittings because I found the ladies to be very lovely. Update: I brought in 3 items to be altered with mix results, so readers will have to decide for themselves; but, I did add a conclusion at the bottom to assist with potential customers' research.
1. Wedding Gown
- The ruffled neck flared out too much and had to be controlled a little bit. This was altered very nicely.
- The back was too wide on me and had to be taken in. This too was altered very nicely.
- The bottom was too long on me and had to be shortened. It has three tiers and our agreement was to shorten "each" tier and follow the gown's original proportion for each

So happy I found magicfitters! I received alterations to a maxi dress I'm wearing to a wedding. I have a petite frame so I had to adjust the straps, length and split of the dress and they sure got the job done. It looks as if I bought it from the store. The only thing is they are a bit pricey when it comes to dresses of that sort but I think it's worth it. I would definitely return.

I’m so happy to have found Magic fitters! Oksana and her team are the best, so kind and knowledgeable. I came in with a designer wedding gown that needed several alterations and everything was done perfectly. They even made my wedding veil, which was exactly what I was looking for. This is the place to bring your nice clothing to. I vetted several tailors before choosing Magic Fitters. Oksana, the owner, is very professional and fair. She does not quote outrageous prices. They do quality work there and the prices are very fair for their workmanship. She was the only tailor who's solution to shortening a 3-tier wedding gown was to shorten and move up all the tiers so that the dress will look balanced on me. I contacted them 4 months before my wedding for special project. My niece who is 5 years old, was my flower girl. My mother saved my flower girl dress from 1995/1996 and I really wanted my niece to wear it. I emailed them and Oksana answered me right away. She said that they would be delighted to take on the project.I made an appointment and took the dress in along with my niece. Oksana and the seamstress looked at it, took my niece's measurements and made suggestions on how they will make the dress more modern, but still keeping it's original feel. I am beyond

Randomly found Magic Fitters while in a cab going up 6th Avenue. Easily made an appointment online. No trouble at all! Even better, they will come to your house. I thought that was amazing!
More importantly though, when I got there, the ladies were so warm and comforting in whatever I wanted to do with my articles of clothing and spoke English! I am so lucky to have found this place, the women are as lovely as they are talented. I have trusted them with all sorts of alterations. From a very complicated beaded bridesmaid dress (see photo) to skinny jeans, they know exactly what to do! I won't go anywhere else for alterations. Did I mention the space is large, sunny, gorgeous and on top of the M/F trains!

Magic Fitters/Oksana is now my permanent seamstress! After bringing my dress that I ordered from Singapore and my (now) husband's formal wear.... and seeing what she could do with it, we will always be a customer.
