Spine injections can often times be a great relief for those who suffer from back pain, pre-surgery and/or post-surgery pain. For many people suffering from lower back pain and leg pain, steroid injections have helped provide relief. Pain management and relief is the goal with any treatment, and steroid injections could be the option for you.
Spinal injections are one of the front-line non-surgical methods of producing almost immediate and long-term pain relief. While there's no guarantee that any pain management technique will work perfectly in your particular case, injections into various areas of the spine have shown the capacity to work effectively in conjunction with physical therapy or medications.
The treatment for chronic neck pain, or even an injury to the area, might start with a steroid solution injection to reduce inflammation and get healing started quickly. As with spine injections, which we discussed in the previous section, the steroid of choice is called cortisone, and is synthesized in the lab to mimic the natural human hormone cortisol.
Unfortunately for the human race, there are a bunch of other joints besides the spine and neck that fall prey to pain created by injury or arthritis. We're talking about the the knees, shoulders, hips, wrists, and ankles in particular. When it comes to injections for these other joints, expect it to take the form of either hyaluronic acid or cortisone.
Injecting a steroid and local anesthetic solution into painful joints has been a foundational treatment for pain management since the 1950s. As a powerful anti-inflammatory medication, cortisone (a common variant) has the capacity to quickly relieve pain for inflamed bursa, muscles, tendons, and joints.

There are good doctor but with no so good attitude. There are doctors with good attitude but not so good results. Dr. Seth Kaufman...even the name is angelic. Excellent skills, outstanding knowledge. Gifted and precise hands plus charismatic and patience attitude. Compassionate, understanding and easy to talk to. He's blessed with all heavenly qualities. Believe me. I came to Dr. Seth Kaufman with excruciating pain on my back radiating down to the right leg. I was in agony and with a single epidural injection my pain was completely gone. I will be forever grateful to Dr. Kaufman and the staff for getting out of this amount of pain I was in. I recommend this office and its doctors 100%.

I’ve been seen by both Dr. Brusovanik and Dr. Kaufman for my L5-S1 disc herniation and have received nothing but excellent, compassionate treatment. Both Drs made me feel very comfortable and relaxed, and gave me realistic options for treatment. Dr. Kaufman preformed my epidural steroid injection and made me feel relaxed and at ease during the whole process. Very happy with my choice of practice for my back pain and herniated disc treatment and will recommend to anyone in Miami with pain.
