This unique facility offers 120 private acres including 2 ponds and 3 swimming pools for campers ages 4-14. A short 10-minute drive from the 101 freeway in Agoura or 6 miles from the Pacific Ocean in Malibu. Calamigos Ranch was home for one of the earliest camps in California dating back to the 1940's.

Services
Counselors and Specialists are carefully selected based upon experience, background, knowledge and their desire to work with children. Many of our counselors return each summer assuring that Camp Summertime has dedicated staff working with our campers. Prior to camp, all staff members participate in a comprehensive training program.

This camp caters to some of the meanest and most spoiled kids in the community. We ended up pulling our son out the last week of camp knowing we'd get no refund. The kids bullied my son daily to the point of tears. We complained to the staff but no one defended our son. We also asked them to stop serving him sugar filled popsicles but the staff would not listen nor would they offer sugar free. A complete waste!!!

Worst place/ your children will spend a lot of time in the heat with no shade or proper snacks... they do not provide water ... a lot of the staff is young and immature. Don’t care about the kids well being . It’s over priced take your children elsewhere . I promise there is better camps than this one... Calamigos ranch is good for wedding not really set up for summer camp.. worst staff to ever deal with. Not enough diversity .

Awesome camp to send your kids! So many activities such as go-karts, archery, fishing, boating, petting zoo, rock wall, zip line, and more. There are many age groups and many kids so your child can make friends. The counselors are very friendly and are responsible. Even through this pandemic they were able to keep it a clean/safe and friendly environment for the kids.

This is such an amazing camp. My son has been going here for four summers. He just loves it. There are so many activities for the kids to enjoy. The staff is remarkable , accommodating, and patient. They feel like family. I remember fondly my sons first year he struggled a bit with his peers at first. They bent over backwards to be supportive and make sure he had a wonderful time. Now he is proudly a CILT. Counselor in training. He still is a camper but one day a week he gets to help with the younger kids. It is his favorite day of the week. He talks proudly and confidently about sharing

My two children are on their third summer at this camp. It has become a summer home/family for them. The friends, staff members and endless fun activities are memories they will keep forever and look forward to every year. At the end of every camp day I pick them up and enjoy hearing about all the adventures they have had that day and love hearing the camp songs that fallow them home at night. I have and will continue to recommend this camp. It is the perfect summer experience for children

My son and daughter have been going to Camp Summertime for years and we can't say enough good things about it. The staff are incredibly attentive and friendly. I've seen them bend over backwards to accommodate campers' requests as best they can. There are tons of activities every day, and each week has a different theme, so there's always something new. Kids get to experience horseback riding, archery, go carts, fishing, paddle boats, sports, as well as marine life tables, fun inflatables and even a sleepover (my son says Mark, the owner, makes the best chili dogs ever!!!) Where do I begin? I am not an employee of this camp, but I have worked at summer camps in the past, and there is something about this camp that really sticks out. I work for a company that shadows children with disabilities, and I am here all day.
The camp is run by a husband and wife, who are so energetic and sweet. The counselors are all high school graduates. You wouldn't guess that they were high schoolers. They are so great with the kids.

Absolutely amazing experience for my kids. Jen and Mark (the owners) are incredible people with the patience of Job. I sent my 3 kids there this summer (ages 4 1/2 and 8) and all three LOVED spending their summer at Camp Summertime. Swimming (very safe) everyday, animals, paddle boat rides, go cart races, archery, etc. they have been around for like 60 years. Excellent experience for all 3 and they can't wait to go back next year. My 8 year old has been to several expensive camps but never asked to go back. This year he asked to go back for session 2 and can't wait for next year. Worth

This is such a great camp! There are several camps in the area, but the activities they offer here go above and beyond anything else. The facility itself is amazing and makes me jealous I didn't go here when I was a kid. The camp director and staff really care about the kids and make sure you feel comfortable when leaving your kids there. I have a younger son and had to rely on their bus to take and pick him up. This was a little bit out of my comfort zone leaving him in the hands of the staff and the other kids traveling to camp, but he absolutely loved it! He will be back next summer

Yelp's default for a five star review is, "Woohoo! As good as it gets!" and this couldn't be a more perfect description for Camp Summertime. Our kids have gone there for the last three years. This camp is the kind of camp any parent would want their child to reflect back on their childhood and remember. It is active (swimming daily) and balanced. My kids usually come home quite tuckered from this place but it offers them experiences that I just can't imagine being able to provide myself. They have the infrastructure (equipment etc.) set up for the kids to have experiences
