Whether it is in the warmer seasons or in winter the Farm by the River with Stables can offer a variety of places for your ceremony. We specialize in small intimate weddings, and elopements. Ceremonies can take place in the a vvariety of places on site in the garden, the lower acreage or in one of the many vistas Winter weddings can take place inside by the fireplace in the living room or outside overlooking the mountains.

What a great weekend, beautiful old farmhouse B&B. Rick and Charlene are wonderful hosts very friendly and knowledgeable. Very clean with a lot of old pictures of family and the area. Foods was excellent we would highly recommend a stay here and we will surely be back hopefully the weather will be better so we can take advantage of the stables

We were married by Rick in their beautiful BnB. Charlene and Rick’s Home was beautiful and cozy they are very kind and welcoming. Their dog Heidi is a cutie and friendly. I really appreciated how laid back and relaxed they made my wedding day. We woke to a wonderful smell of fresh muffins and a feast for the morning. I would highly recommend a visit to their farm and would love to return with better weather to go for a horse back riding trip or the carriage stroll

This is a wonderful place to stay! Rick & Charlene made us feel welcome from the moment we arrived. They take such great care of their animals from their beloved Weimaraner Heidi (official welcoming committee member) to their beautiful horses, which we enjoyed seeing from our room window. An excellent way to spend my 50th birthday!

My wife Debbie and I had the most wonderful time on our honeymoon. Rick and Charlene and their dog Heidi were so hospitable and friendly. We enjoyed our trail ride as well. Debbie had never been on a horse! It's so quiet and secluded yet you are only a 5 minute drive from bustling downtown North Conway. We will be back for sure.

It's a nice cozy place run by a wonderful couple. It's not a motel/hotel but rather a big house where they rent out rooms. The rooms are decent and clean, we had booked two rooms, however they had a single bathroom shared between them and it was very small. Breakfast had limited veggie options but they were kind enough to make some instant stir fried potatoes.
The thing I didn't like is the horseback riding experience. We were four of us and they got four horses but they randomly assigned horses and did not let us choose. Which was not a bid deal, however they kept horses in one line while riding

Farm by the River Bed & Breakfast was wonderful. Our room was nicely decorated and had all the necessities. The bedroom was kept nicely, the bed was comfortable and the breakfast was delicious. The owners are very friendly as well as their furry friend Heidi. It was a great experience, we will definitely be back.

My husband wanted to go snowmobiling for his birthday so I did a web search and found the Farm by the River Bed & Breakfast. They were one of two places in the area that offered a snowmobiling getaway package. They also offered a sleigh ride which really got my attention. I spoke with Charlene (one of the owner's) who was very helpful and knowledgeable. It was evident that she had a good relationship with the snowmobiling company, Northern Extreme, and set everything up for us. Although I always wanted to try a bed and breakfast, I never did until now. I must say it was a very good experience.

My family and I had such a wonderful weekend at Farm by the River B&B! We all had a truly great time and still talk about how much fun we had even though we went a few months ago. The rooms were comfortable and big enough, and there were a bunch of accommodations that really made them unique. Our kids loved the stables and horses, the breakfast was excellent, and the owners were friendly and helpful.

Farm by the River was a very cozy place to stay! My boyfriend and I made a late reservation, and the staff were still able to accommodate all our needs. This a pretty big bed and breakfast, but they still give you great 1 on 1 service. The owners made it a point to chat with us, make us comfortable, and make us feel at home. I loved the small little touches/decorations to the room, and the breakfast was excellent. All in all, we were very pleased and had a great time!

My husband, 5 year old, and I just spent a very relaxing long weekend at Farm by the River. It was such an awesome experience and we couldn't have asked for a more fun, picturesque winter weekend. It's an extremely authentic New England farmhouse with horses and awesome food. The breakfast was phenomenal and the rooms were comfortable, clean and warm. Rick and Charleen were amazing hosts! They did everything they could to make our stay more enjoyable and comfortable, and were so helpful in every way. This was a highly personalized experience, with a ton of extra accommodations like a warm plate

I have had the pleasure of staying at the farm 6 times over the past 10 years, twice in the past two months with my girlfriend. I have stayed in 6 rooms, and found all of them cozy and VERY clean. Charlene and Rick are extremely friendly/warm people and are an absolute pleasure to talk with. They also make a very delicious breakfast. Rick's blueberry muffins are outstanding!
The property the B&B is on is beautiful. In July we went horseback riding there and truly enjoyed the experience.
I highly recommend The Farm by the River. I don't see myself staying anywhere else when I visit North Conway
