For over 20 years, Murphy Road Animal Hospital has been providing high quality care to cats and dogs in and around Sachse. To ensure our patients have the most comfortable experience possible, we're Fear Free certified and we utilize a variety of techniques to keep them happy and relaxed for the duration of their visit.
Our veterinarians offer preventive care, wellness exams and services for kittens, puppies, cats, and dogs. Diagnostic imaging allows our veterinarians to look at your pet internally for clues about sickness or injury. Dental care is an essential part of your pet's overall health to prevent dental disease and tooth loss.

Thorough, but very expensive. I took two of my dogs in for their rabies shot, and the bill was $245. I was charged $66 per dog for an "annual exam" that took less than 30 seconds and consisted of the doctor listening to their hearts, and shining a light in their eyes. At my old vet, I have never been charged for an exam when we came in for just shots. They also tried to upsell several other things. I am sure they provide excellent care, but since we have multiple dogs, just cannot afford to go back here. We will just continue to drive them to Allen from now on.

Having sampled a number of animal hospitals and boarding facilities in our life, this is a very well run and professional location. The staff is very knowledgeable and professional.
We have also had occasion to board our furry family member there, too. Aside from the normal feelings of regret we pet lovers experience when boarding our pets, we have complete confidence in this business.
While we have others to choose from, many closer, these people are great and worth a little longer trip to drop off or pick up of you are in Plano.
Give them a try. Of course they also do grooming.

Love MRAH. When we relocated, we searched a couple of different places for care for my dogs. When we visited MRAH, we were very happy and have continued to receive care here ever since. After 9+ years, we still have our pets taken care of here and haven't regretted the decision at all. We also love that they have care available when we go out of town. Dogs are always well cared for and are thriving. Thank you MRAH.

Dr. Mobius is an amazing vet. It's really hard to find a vet that cares and doesn't just want to take your money. I tried 2 other vets in the area and was very disappointed so I kept driving 45 min to my old vet. I have 4 animals and I started with 1 at a time. I just recently had to put my dog down (one that he has never seen) and I was so impressed with how genuine and gentle he was. As hard as it was, dr mobius made the situation way better if that's possible.

The doctors and staff at Murphy Road Animal Hospital are kind, caring and professional. They are truly remarkable and demonstrate a high degree of care and compassion for the pets and their owners. Just recently, a Lead Tech, Brett, went out of his way to care for my 12 year old Chihuahua who underwent a lengthy dental procedure. I was touched by the amount of time he spent caring for her all day. A huge thank you to Dr. Hohner, Brett, and the team for taking such good care of Sassy. Murphy Road Animal Hospital has cared for our dogs since we moved here in 2009. They have a caring staff and take excellent care of our dogs whether in the Hospital side or the kennels. They give us the same care as we had in our small town back home.
Kudos to the staff they have helped us through the difficult times losing 3 elderly dogs and give excellent care to our 2 young dogs.

Pharmacy prices are astronomical. I asked for a written prescription so I could shop around. When the online pharmacy called to verify the prescription the Vet refused to validate it stating they were not familiar with the pharmacy.
I appreciate that the staff and doctors care for my pets, however, they do not get to choose who I spend my money with. MY doctor cannot tell me where to shop for my meds but apparently this veterinarian practice feels they have that right.
I will spend my hard earned money anywhere but here.

Everyone here is wonderful. Dr. Hohner is the most wonderful, most caring vet I have ever met. We have moved 3 times in 6 years and had to find new vets each time. I am so thankful to have found Dr. Hohner. She is in a class by herself. Thank you, Dr. Hohner for taking such wonderful care of my sweet bulldog boy. You are an amazing person and an awesome doctor.
