Prides Deli & Pizzeria
Prides Deli & Pizzeria, was purchased in 2009 by Endicott alum Michael Magner. As a local student Michael was a frequent customer of Prides. Michael loved the location and thought of Prides Pizza as the undiscovered jewel of Beverly, Ma. Michael believed that with longer hours and better ingredients, Prides could become something special for students and residents alike.

And over the past few years that is exactly what has happened. Prides has since been voted "Beverly's Best Pizza" and business has thrived. Prides is home to some of the best eats on the North Shore. In 1947 Concettina Mantella immigrated to America from Calabria, Italy. Concettina brought nothing except the clothes on her back and old country recipes that had been handed down to her.

On 10/27 I ordered a small banana hammock pizza to go and it was excellent. I will be back to sample other things on the menu. Recommend.

Excellent thin crust cheese pizza. The crust was perfectly proportional to the pizza; height and depth wise. The cheese had that glisten, not too cooked and appropriately melted. Flavor hit with classic italian seasoning, not too powerful but enough to satiate the taste buds. Lastly, the texture is near perfect, to the point where it goes down so smoothly you don't even realize you just downed a medium pizza all by yourself. Overall, great experience and great customer service.

We just happened upon this place at 8pm on a Sunday night and man let me tell you it was good. The Almy will change your life. It is steak and chicken peppers onions buffalo sauce. One of the best subs I have ever had. I live an hour away but am going to have to find a reason to come back this way again. Excellent

Amazing food and very lovely service. The woman at the counter knows how to ha dle call ins with walk in guests present and is so friendly! We loved out Almy sub and Turkey sub and the pizza is very delicious, too.

Service was fast and friendly on a Friday afternoon at lunch time. Ham and cheese sub was pretty standard. Fresh bread. I'd ask for extra pickles, plus salt and pepper next time. $11.75 for a large sub and a can of soda.

Have been ordering delivery from here for about four years now. Always friendly and helpful on the phone and I have never had a problem with delivery. Food is stellar. Great for anytime, any day.

What a gem!
Food is always very tasty, fresh and too quality. Fast service for pickup (haven't had delivery yet). The folks who run the place are always smiling and happy and remember your name.
There's a small seating area inside and outside and it's right next to a great ice cream spot..... What more could you ask for?!

This is our go to pizza delivery place. Granted, we are limited in Manchester, but the pizza never disappoints. My favorite is their veggie pizza, which is chock full of veggies. The prices are very reasonable, and the people who deliver are always polite and efficient.

The pizza is actually a cut above average for Beverly, but our delivery guy wore no mask and had no clue why that was a problem. I'm sure that there are some people who wouldn't be bothered by this; but we are. Everybody should wear a mask. Okay?

BEST PIZZA on the north shore- honestly can’t go wrong- subs, wraps, dinners, pizza.. it’s all great. My husband and I drive the 20 mins about once a week despite having a million places in town. It’s just that good!

We ordered off of grub hub, pizza and wings. Nothing special. When the food arrived 75 minutes later. The pizza was incorrect, I called back immediately to let them know of the error. They apologized and said that food would be there within 35 minutes. The correct food order arrived 55 minutes later. (It's now been two hours since I first placed the order. My husband and I are very hungry.)The new pizza's toppings had completely slid off. It was just soggy thin pizza dough. The wings were barely mediocre. It was more than disappointing, I'm never ordering from them again. I waited all day for pizza

THE BEST PIZZA North of NYC. Having grown up in NJ and eaten only the best pizza, Prides is hands down the best. If you love NYC pizza with a not to think not to thin crust (one you can fold and still stands straight, zesty flavorful sauce, and real cheese that has the flavor of cheese (unlike most that use cheap oil-based processed cheese) this is for you. You will be hooked! Prides - please don't tinkering without that recipe! Perfecto!

Worst Deli in New England. Filthy Kitchen, Terrible food, and Incompetent "chefs." If you DO happen to get take-out, make sure you keep the receipt...that way, when you come down with severe food poisoning, or discover that your food has been burnt beyond recognition, you'll have proof (both of which happened to me). When confronted, they refuse to reimburse their customers, offering instead to make you another one of their disgusting subs. The only reason this place is still in business is because they deliver up til 2AM . The bulk of their business comes from Endicott and Gordon College. Their

My experience at Pride's was quite contrary to many of the reviews I have seen on this board. The service is polite, and the food is delicious. I could tell when I was eating one of their steak bomb subs that Pride's takes extra care to provide higher quality meats than most other places I've been to in the area. Their pizzas are creative, and also made with fresh ingredients. If you are looking for some delicious comfort food for a decent price, you should ignore the bad reviews and check this place out.

Mediocre food, annoyingly dull service. The management team doesn't seem to be playing with a full deck of cards, either.

Riverview, or Pomodoris in Ipswich, are cheaper, tastier and have better service.

I always thought Pride's had OK food... got lukewarm fries once.

But, today, I went down there to pick-up a bite and the owner was outside yelling at a car full of girls. From what I can tell, the girls weren't even being nasty or rude. But the owner (I've seen him behind the counter a few times) was waddling around the parking lot like some strung-out Grimace, dropping 'f-bombs' and threatening the girls with the police.

As a father, I was thinking about saying something. But before I could get out of my truck, the girls drove off and the manager went back inside

Holy smokes owners...read your reviews!!!

When are the owners going to wake up and realize that the people answering the phone are about as pleasant as a dirty diaper. It seems like a common theme. What a shame that customer service is no longer valued by people in the industry. Would it kill you to answer the phone and be polite or even welcoming?

When I call and say, hello I would like to make an order for pickup.. "yeah, what do you want", or even better put the phone down without saying anything and wait for someone else to pick up. For those of you who actually care about

There's one woman in particular here that usually answers the phones and it probably the rudest person I've ever met. I understand she deals with college students regularly, but no respect is given to the customers who literally keep this place in business.

The food is ok, nothing to write home about. Recently, I was told my food would be an hour and after calling twice, (and being told my food was coming) was told two hours later that my order was never put in. The woman's response was "yeah sorry". Nothing was done to mend the situation.

Honestly, the only good thing

Unbelievable! I was expecting so much more from Prides Deli, considering Prides Piccola on Rantoul is absolutely delicious! Unfortunately, I was disappointed. The pizza was underwhelming-grossly thin and undercooked. I will not order from Prides Deli again!
