Many people have asked me why'd you call your business Wax and 40 Lashes? Because when I was working for other spas, waxing off hair and glueing on lashes is my bread and butter. I was 40 years old when I finally grew up and decided to become an esthetician, thus came the name Wax and 40 Lashes.

Attaching extensions to your natural lashes individually to give it a fuller and thicker appearance. Two hour session. A more economic option to fill out your natural lashes, strategically placed to bring out the most. One hour thirty minute session. A fill is for when 30-40% of your existing lash extensions have fallen out and the volume is starting to look a little sparse.
Waxing is the semi-permanent removal of hair from the root by using soft or hard wax, we have added sugar paste as another option. Hair will regrow depending on each unique individual, but the average is three to four weeks. Bikini waxing is removing hair from the pubic region that is not covered by a swimsuit or undergarments.

Fantastic! I had a full set of lash extensions put on and I loved them! Unfortunately, I ended up having an allergy to the glue, so I had to have them removed. But again, they looked so nice, and I was sad to remove them. Jen was great about getting me back in for a removal and was very understanding. I ended up doing a lash tint with the lift and I love them - no issues whatsoever. This is a great way to give yourself some extra self care! If you are interested in a lift or extensions this is the place to go. Jen is very nice and knows what she is doing. Highly recommend!

Getting a lash lift from Jen pays for itself. I literally did the math--the 15 minutes it saves me every day on doing my mascara allows me to make an extra $187 every 6 weeks, as I work from home making $25/hour. A TOTAL GAME CHANGER!
$90 for a lash lift and tint is a steal. I went somewhere else once in a time crunch and will never do it again. This was my 3rd lash lift with her, and no one does it like Jen.

Jen was absolutely fantastic! I am from out of town and came up for a wedding. Spur of the moment decIded to stay a month. My lashes were a mess and falling out and everywhere I called would not do a fill on lashes they didn't do. She didn't have availability for 2 weeks but was able to squeeze me in for an emergency. She was easy to talk to I felt so comfortable, but the best part was the results! We talked and she really listened to what I wanted. I went to see Jenny at Wax and 40 Lashes for my first ever eyebrow tattooing experience. I was nervous but mostly excited. Jenny took awesome care of me! She was very thorough in explaining the process and every item that she uses to do the tattooing. I’m very happy with my brows, and I am looking forward to seeing how they look after the healing process. I will also be scheduling another appointment with Jenny to do some micro needling for me. Only a few hours for a huge fluffy volume set ! Setting was very peaceful, no cross talk to be overheard while laying there, I enjoyed my nap. I had a payment issue With my card and despite not having funds available for 3 hours after the service, my lash lady wasn’t even worried. She’s very sweet, very professional and does exceptional work. I’m definitely coming back for my fills! Grateful for this great shop in our community ! I was a little skeptical about getting eyelash extensions. I don't take a lot of time to get ready, and mascara is about all that I do most days. I figured eyelash extensions may make my routine even easier. Jenny was super friendly, answered all of my questions and helped me pick a style that would fit me. I've known Jenny for a few years. She has experience as a surgical tech in the military and is very aware of sterile and aseptic technique which as an RN is important to me. This year for Christmas I bought my 77 year old mom the tatoo'd eyebrows of her dreams and she is very happy with them. It was a great mom daughter outing.

I'd been looking for a new waxing place and was delighted to find something only a short drive from home. But when I saw she also does lashes I was intrigued. I'd been thinking about getting last extensions for a while. Being able to schedule that right after my waxing was great. If I had to make a separate appointment I probably would have kept "thinking about it" but never scheduled something.

Oops! This review is a bit delayed... I recently moved here and was looking for a new Brazilian wax place as my other place in Edmonds is just too far. I booked with Jenny based on reading the other reviews. My appointment was 2 days before I left for my cruise (back in January). I had a "surprise" sugaring (ran out of wax) which was fine because I had always wanted to try it. I think the sugaring was a tad bit more painful but I like the end result better. Jenny is great. I have really (stubbornly) straight and long lashes. The first lash lift curl didn't last as long as I had hoped but this was no fault of Jenny's. I contacted her to let her know so she let me back in and did a tighter curl with no problems or hesitation. My lashes now look so good! I love good customer service & think it's very important so kudos to J! I highly recommend going to Wax and 40 Lashes.

Jenny is great! She is easy going, dedicated and takes pride in her workmanship! I am a super loyal customer with my lashes but since moving to lake Stevens, getting my lashes done in Bellevue is just too much of a drive. With that said I am super happy I have found Jenny!
I have only done a hybrid extension set so far but I am so looking forward to my fills and trying some facials out.

Back Story: I had an appointment to go to a sugaring place in Everett. A very popular place, as it were. Here's the snag. There was an accident on the 5 southbound. I live in Marysville and what should have taken 10 minutes took me about 20-25. Needless to say, I was in communication with the owner the whole way and was told that she would not be able to see me. I was 10 minutes late from my 2nd appointment (I had 2 back to back ones that day and decided to forgo the 1st and just keep the 2nd because of how late I was).
