The Mission of KLA Schools is to provide a safe, innovative environment and high quality education for the students of our communities inspired by the Reggio Emilia Approach to education. Candy Ortega, her husband, Roberto and a group of investors and educators founded KLA Schools in 2008. They opened the first KLA School in Miami, FL, in 2008 and began franchising in 2010.
KLA Schools of Prospect prides itself on providing a safe and nurturing environment for children's enjoyment and parent peace of mind. All doors entering and exiting the building are controlled by electronic locks. Each parent is issued a unique PIN used to enter the building. Parents are also required to electronically sign in their child upon arrival and departure of school.
Our educators know the importance of creating a trust filled relationship with our infants. As our educators soothe and nurture children they support them in building a sense of confidence by responding quickly and appropriately to their natural cues. Our educators comfort your baby while holding, talking, singing in a quiet reassuring voice, and by making eye contact with them.
Working in small groups with similar skill levels, students at KLA Schools of Prospect develop abilities in content areas that match Kentucky's K-12 Program of Studies (Language Arts, Mathematics, Science, Arts & Humanities, Physical Education, Social Studies, Computers & Technology). The school considers student assessments, parent-teacher conference, and longitudinal research integral in measuring success.
