Honor Roll BJJ offers its students exceptional training in the "gentle art" of Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu. We have something for all levels and ages of students seeking good health, fitness, to learn real self-defense, or even the ability to compete at the international level. HONOR ROLL BJJ KIDS PROGRAM: We accept students as young as 3 years old.
Professor Bruno's ability to teach even out littlest rollers, is fantastic to watch. He gets down on the mats at their level and shows them first hand how to do the techniques. His commanding presence helps even the most easily distracted' child learn to pay attention, be respectful and help their teammates.
Once you get to the level when you make the decision to start competing, that just goes hand in hand with a letting go of ego. You see, Jiu-Jitsu teaches us that champions, those with the real power, have no need to prove it anywhere else than on those competition mats. And even then, it is only to test themselves, to find out their weaknesses and how to improve their game for the next outing.
Our Academy teaches traditional Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, one of the most effective self-defense martial arts, suitable for all ages and levels. Our Professor, Bruno Antunes, spends time with all his students, regardless of their age or experience level. It is his commitment, caring and ability to teach core techniques that have made our academy the #1 BJJ Academy in the Santa Clarita area.
There are many reasons. First and foremost, it is a practical, hands on, self-defense martial art that even our littlest students can actually use in real life situations to protect themselves from bigger, heavier bullies. For ladies, it is perfect. No need to be stronger or in better shape than an attacker, BJJ teaches how to use leverage and pressure to "control" your opponent.

Professor Bruno is one of the best Brazilian Jiu Jitsu Instructors I’ve known, and I know Professor Bruno for more than 10 years!! My husband and him used to train together for major tournaments!! He has a beautiful character and amazing values!!! His academy is like a family! If you are looking for a lifestyle change, get your kids started, Honor Roll would be a great experience!!!

Honor Roll is a great place to learn and train!
My good friend who has been here for several years kept telling me to come because the training here was amazing, and that Professor Bruno is extremely knowledgeable and professional! I am new to Jiu-Jitsu and have been at Honor Roll for the past six months. The training atmosphere is patient and welcoming and yes, amazing!
In the short time that I have been working out here, the me that walked through the door six months ago is not the same me that is here today! My level of confidence, training and physical ability has grown. I have lost weight

I have had my 8 and 4 year old boys training here for almost a year now. The family atmosphere they have developed here is second to none. I have seen both my boys thrive in Ju Jitsu but also socially with the other great kids they train with. Bruno and all of the other coaches always have the best interest of the kids in mind and insure that have fun while learning to defend themselves.

Professor Bruno Antunes and Honor Roll BJJ has become a huge part of my families lives for many years as we all started our journey as white belts. My wife and I are now brown belts! Our son and daughter started first and then my wife and I joined after and we all couldn't be happier. The training is top notch and the exercise is the best you will ever experience as well as teaching you how to defend yourself and increasing confidence. On top of that, the environment there is very friendly. You go to train and exercise, but your not by yourself as your training along side your partners and friends

I am a hobbiest BJJ purple belt that has been with Honor Roll for the past 8 years or so. Bruno takes good care of his students and has taught me alot over the years. In my opinion I believe that he has accomplished bringing a real sense of community to the gym. I've met alot of simply good people through this gym and they come from all different backgrounds. Lawyers, Medical, Law Enforcement, Coaches, Architects, Engineers, Students you name it. I have to say that I've learned alot on and off the mats from my training partners. Great gym really for anyone. I plan on being here for many more years
