Dr. Alison Moon founded First Coast Dermatology Associates in 2003. Since that time the practice has experienced tremendous growth. Most of this growth has been driven by word of mouth from highly satisfied patients who have benefited from Dr. Moon's uniformly high quality and compassionate care. Dr. Moon attended Wright State University School of Medicine in Dayton, Ohio where she graduated first in her class.
Dr. Chelsy Marty is a board-certified dermatologist. She joined First Coast Dermatology Associates in early 2010, after spending 2 years at Mayo Clinic in Jacksonville as an Instructor in Dermatology. She received her undergraduate education from North Dakota State University and her medical degree from the University of North Dakota School of Medicine & Health Sciences, graduating at the top of her class.
Dr. Ines Kevric O'Shaughnessy is a native of former Yugoslavia and moved to Kentucky at the age of 12. She obtained her Bachelor of Science degree at Centre College graduating Magna cum Laude, and her medical degree at the University of Kentucky College of Medicine, where she graduated with high distinction.

Dr Moon is great IF you can actually get an appointment. I have been a patient for over 5 years and have had enough. They create a sense of urgency when they want to remove something (and charge you or the insurance company) but to get an annual or checkup appointment I was told I had to wait 4 months for an appointment, and if I wanted an earlier appointment with a different doctor, there was no returning to Dr. Moon, she would no longer be my Dr. I definitely got the sense that the were churning as many patients in and out as they could. They also like to take off EVERYTHING...burn first ask

Would not recommend if you are a new patient.
I am new to Jacksonville - and had been referred here by a current patient. I called and emailed (as it says on their site to do) - they got back to me promptly which is great. I am in the area and have a flexibility to pop over.
**Apparently they are fully booked until July 20th. About 46 days out from today (6/4) for a simple consultation. This was surprising to me considering the handful of dermatologists practicing here. I'm not sure if this is a common trend, but I sadly did not feel welcomed over the phone by the appointment coordinator, she

In this day in age when a specialist spends perhaps 3 minutes with you and leaves you feeling that you were number 32 on a list of 40 they must see today, Dr. Stephanie Ortman is a pleasant and welcome surprise.
Thorough, professional, wonderful bedside manner and one who takes the time to understand any issue you may have and actually explain a recommended course of treatment.
I could not be happier with her professional and personal way of practicing medicine.
I recommend her without hesitation or reservation.

Excellent quality staff and medical staff. Excellent customer service. Eleanor is very knowledgable and thorough. She also has a friendly personality, which is also needed in this profession. I highly recommend the practice and Eleanor. This is a clean, comfortable, professional medical office with friendly staff and highly qualified medical personnel.

I have been a patient here for years. Dr. Alison Moon is fabulous. This January, I saw Elleanor there for a severe allergic dermatitis reaction from an allergist's sublingual allergy drops (which were taken orally). Then, I saw a "doctor" at Care Spot & he gave me Prednisone which did nothing to help.
Then, my husband got me an appt. with our dermatologist office & I got to see Elleanor Swartz. She prescribed a topical steroidal cream & OTC Vanicream. I had relief right away. Two weeks later, I returned and she said I was smiling. I told her she made me smile with my

The office is well-organized and efficient. I was greeted immediately, signed papers electronically, within 3 minutes brought back to a room with an assistant who took all the necessary information. The wait time for the doctor was less than 5 minutes. Dr. Ines was thorough, friendly, and answered all my questions. Highly recommend.

Very disappointed to learn that a 5 minute session with the doctor was $90. Turns out my issue isn't dermatological. I pay out of pocket so was shocked to receive ANOTHER bill after paying $53 for my visit. After waiting 20 minutes past my appointment time, I got 5 minutes with the Dr. to hear that I needed to visit a hand surgeon. I was fine with the $53 office visit but another $37? Unsat. What is that $3.33/ second? This isn't the NBA. I'll be finding another dermatologist.

I didn't come here as a patient but to purchase a sunscreen that's only sold in a physicians office. I was greeted by a very polite woman and also the doctor. I showed them an empty container of the sunscreen I was looking to purchase and the doctor assisted me and also gave me a sample of a face wash from the same line (Elta MD). From my brief yet pleasant experience I would definitely return as a customer and possibly a patient!
Also the office is located upstairs! Meaning you have to take the elevator to get there. I walked around the building twice until I asked an employee at another
