A third-generation tailor, Lopez learned tailoring from his dad and grandfather in his native Mexico. He grew up in a small town 90 miles south of Eagle Pass. He started learning his craft by making buttonholes and helping his dad press pants. In these early years, he flipped through Life magazine to get inspiration for designing men's suits.

I’m just very annoyed the fact I paid $211 for 3 simple alterations. I should have been told the price beforehand being I know I could have got this much cheaper. Just from a business perspective you should always tell someone up front how much the cost will be so they are not shocked picking it up. I would have been ok with around 100 but 65 a piece. Crazy.

This tailoring and alteration business is top notch. Super easy and convenient parking, friendly staff and timely, impeccable craftsmanship. I had some very expensive pants that I needed hemmed so of course I was apprehensive to take them just anywhere...well, with a great recommendation I decided to use the services of Mr Lopez and staff...and wow I am beyond happy! I've been taking my clothes here for alterations for almost a year now. Everyone is very pleasant and helpful. They always make sure I'm pleased with the work, which I am. I've had everything from thousand dollar dresses to fifty dollar dresses altered and always the same great work. They even fixed the lacing on one of my dresses!

Overpriced. Poor quality tailor, took all 3 of my suits here and picked them up 3 weeks later. All of my suits were incomplete. All of my suits had loose thread hanging from the suits and the pants weren't complete! I can't believe they told me my suits were complete and to come pick them up. They eventually corrected the error, but I had to argue to fix the error on the suits! I'm a customer guys come on! Just because they are high priced don't expect quality!!! Please please double check your items when picking them up!
