Can't say enough good things about Smokin' Steve's in Moorpark. Easy online ordering, good communications with their staff, food delivered exactly on time and what we ordered, so what can I say? The three items we chose went over super well with our 60+ guests. I wouldn't hesitate to use them again. Actually I can't wait 'til the next time, the food was that awesome. Five STARS all the way

Hi there, our wedding was scheduled to be at the top floor of the Crown Plaza Hotel BUT 2 weeks before the wedding the Covid Guidelines, for Ventura County plus the rise in Covid infections forced us to have an out door reception. to have 200 people in a enclosed room at the Crown Plaza was a disaster waiting to happen due to Covid. So we called Smokin Steves to cater our outdoor reception and they made the process very easy. The food was excellent, the service was even better. We loved our Easter dinner, Steve! It was a bright spot in our day! It was so delicious, every single item - the garlic roasted potatoes, the wonderful vegetable medley and the perfectly cooked lamb and bbq chicken with delicious sauce. I highly recommend Smokin’ Steve’s Pit Barbecue Catering for delicious food and excellent service. The price is great and the food arrived at exactly the prearranged time. I appreciated the free home delivery service for our area, especially during the quarantine period. The BBQ Chicken and Baby Back ribs were wonderful! I called Steve with only a week to spare to my daughter's graduation and wanted to stay within a certain budget. Steve worked with us to make sure we were able to satisfy our guests and meet our needs. AND THEN THERE WAS THE FOOD...So tasty! We enjoyed chicken, brisket, beans, mac and cheese, rolls...everything was super tasty and almost every guest asked how they could get some. Lastly, I've had the pleasure of networking with and seeing Steve serving the public on several occasions and he is a genuinely good guy - and I like working with and supporting good people!
