So I made a reservation for a 1:15 am cab before I got on my flight...5 hours ago. I get to Midway, collect my luggage and look for my cab. The app kept saying that no taxi has been assigned. Why do they even accept reservations if they can't fulfill the order?
Driver shortage? Fine, then don't take peoples' reservations if you don't know you can service them.
Canceled the order and jumped in an Uber.I'll happily pay for a ride share every time from now on instead of dealing with this kind of crapshoot at 1:30 am!

Run.Away. Do not use. Did a park and fly with best western who utilizes this company. Driver didn't show for pick up at hotel-ended up calling our own Uber. On return pick up waited over an hour and a half. Company lied saying they were there but we weren't. Not the way I wanted to end a full day of travel.

Unable to keep reservation. Made advance reservation. When at the airport I texted for my taxi number and did it receive a response. Called the customer service number, no taxis available despite my advance reservation. Agent said they would provide a taxi number in 5 minutes. Waited 15 and still did not receive a taxi number. I had to use alternate transportation to get home.

Getting worse and worse. A few years ago, I had a frightening experience in an American Taxi. What is worse,is I contacted the company-twice--actually three times--including during the incident--and they didn't even bother to respond. Last night coming back from O'hare--the driver had the back of his seat reclined so far that I could barely fit in, and the cab smelled of his BO!

I use American Taxi 2-3x a month when I fly to Chicago for business, not anymore! Not only did I wait 20 minutes longer than the estimated time, I was picked up in Cab #8260. The car was filthy, smelled like dirt and resumed like cigarette smoke - absolutely disgusting! I am attending a business meeting and this horrible stench is all over my clothes and in my hair.
After 7 years of using your company, I'm done. From now on, I will be supporting Uber and Lyft.
