Definitely off the beaten path but worth a visit! The tasting room is towards the back behind the main building area. Owner was very nice and we enjoyed his stories of the buildings history as well as history of Lodi. Wines were good, classic flavors. Nothing in particular stood out for us wine wise. Definitely enjoyed our visit to Lone Grape!

The number of wineries in Lodi has expanded greatly, but I'm so glad I was able to find this gem. We had a map of Lodi wineries and planned our route. The locals recommended us to stop by LVVR (they only serve champagne) which is right next to Lone Grape.
We had such a great experience here! Our dog ran right into the place because it was so welcoming ... This ended up being our last stop of our wine venture that day... it wasn't planned to be our last stop but the pours were so generous! The hospitality was phenomenal. We ended up staying until closing just talking to the owner, Victor

I liked the two zins here very much. It's an interesting place. The zins were completely different- even though the used the same grapes harvested on the same day! It was fin to taste the different processes. I also liked the Chardonnay. This is a quirky little place- and I recommend it. I was also happy to have the recommendation to try the sparking wine next door (it's yummy!) and to find out there's a pear cider made at this spot (though it was not available for tasting.) All in all a very nice experience.
