Oak Ridge Winery
For five generations, the Maggio family has been growing grapes in the area of Lodi, California. We make wines that we like to drink, whether it's for a big family gathering or a quiet night at home, and we're delighted to be able to share them with you. Crafted from our oldest Zinfandel vines - with an average age of fifty years - these wines exude the unique character of the Lodi terroir and honor a long wine-growing heritage.

Mature vines, intense fruit, old souls. These prized wines are better balanced, with more body, structure, and concentrated flavors. A celebration of exceptional winegrowing and winemaking, and a nod to the man who started it all. Angelo Maggio immigrated from Italy in 1906 with his wife Louisa; a passion for winegrowing that began with the first 20 acres of farmland.
Services
Our wines are all crafted from our sustainably farmed, estate vineyards, which allows us to produce exceptional, consistent quality. Our bulk market varieties include Cabernet Sauvignon, Chardonnay, Merlot, Petite Sirah, Pinot Grigio, Pinot Noir, Sauvignon Blanc and Zinfandel. We strive to stay varietally correct in the fruit?s character, while upholding its true Lodi character.
Need to produce a wine brand from the ground up? Oak Ridge Winery can fulfill your creative vision, from the wine tasting profile to dry goods production. We can craft wines to your preferred style, or create unique blends from our available bulk wines. We are fully equipped to assist in the production of your dry goods, and with our state-of-the-art bottling facility, can make your wine program a reality.
When Oak Ridge Winery was renovated in 2002, it was done so with superior wine quality and bottling capabilities in mind?for both our own brands, and those of custom crush clients.

From our Bertolaso bottling line, capable of filling 235 bottles per minute, to our cellar full of American, French, and Hungarian Oak barrels, to the 8,000,000 gallons of tank space across our facility, we are confident in our ability to meet any volume or quality demands with ease.
The Maggio Family has called Lodi home for over 100 years; roots that deep instill a sense of stewardship of the land, with a strong desire to leave it better for future generations. We farm all of our 2,500 acres of vineyards in accordance with Lodi Rules; a third party certified program created for the Lodi Appellation.
Enjoy a delicious variety of white wines with flavor profiles that range from crisp and vibrant to rich and buttery. A unique expression of Sauvignon Blanc; barrel-fermented and aged sur lie style. Creamy and tropical on the nose with an opulent viscosity. Honeydew melon and kiwi flavors abound, with a pleasant herbaceous quality with hints of thyme.

Great service n definitely worth being a club member. The wine is a great value and it's our go to "house" wine. Why not 5 stars? The venue feels a bit like an after though. Also as mentioned, the wine is a great value but there are much better wines in the Lodi area, albeit at much higher prices.

Nice tasting experience. Plenty of tables outside under an awning, and you can bring food to enjoy with your wine. Moderate road noise from the two lane highway it sits on and lots of large trucks passing by, but otherwise a wonderful experience. Not at all crowded at lunch time on a weekday.

Two words: wine slushies!
I have enjoyed OZV Zinfandel (from the grocery store, on sale). As a total fan, I looked forward to visiting for years. Covid put a big hold on that but FINALLY! We arrived and enjoyed our time here. It wasn’t uppity or pretentious (have you been to Napa? You know what I mean…I didn’t need to wear my pearls or do my hair up).
After seeing others brown bag it, I went out and made lunch in our RV: a plate of meats, cheeses, cut apples, dark chocolate squares and almonds with a loaf of French bread (are you writing this down?) We each did a tasting AND a slushie for

If I could rate this place 0 stars I would! They declined to serve my party for my 21st after we already had a section first of all. After they decided to let us buy some wine, they let us know they aren't letting us pour our own drinks and we could only buy bottles. We agree and as they finished pouring our wine they come up again and ask for all of our IDS. We were confused because we were already all drinking but agreed and thought it was funny because we were all 21 anyways. Me and my other friend finished our glass first and came inside for a refill and they rudely told us that they weren

Exceptionally bad wine. We tried s4 places while in lodi and this place was definitely a 0. The staff didnt really care, its a mass production, and the wines were not good at all. I tried all their reds and they were incredibly subpar compared to the other wineries in the area. The ambiance was also not great unless you like giant silos.

Right off the highway. Huge site. Our server was a little abrupt. The wines were good. We liked the petite Syrah. They had corn hole set up to play.

This place missed the boat. We drove an hour to get here. They delivered the tasting menu pretty quickly and then proceeded to ignore us. We waited 15 minutes and then left. No idea if the wine was good.

I forgot to take pictures of the patio set up but there is plenty of shade, options of wines to choose from, and friendly service. We were running late due to traffic but they were still able to let us do a tasting. From the groups choice, the champagne was a favorite. I personally enjoyed the tempranillo.

We went to Lodi, CA to celebrate my birthday in November 2020. Right before the trip, California went to purple and a lot of the wineries were affected as they did not have outside spaces available to host the tasting rooms. After calling around and finding out that several of the wineries were open and offering outside wine tastings, we decided to still make the trip. This winery was awesome!!! We were able to visit without a reservation because we went on day during the week. The ambiance of their outside tasting area is beautifully landscaped!! I hate that I don't remember the name of the

If you are looking for great wine at reasonable prices, this is your place. There is bound to be wine you love, because they have so many choices. There are several brands like Oakridge, Old Soul, Blazon, Maggio and Silk Oak. Within the brands they have several varietals in different price points. I can't wait until they open their tasting room again. I am a member, looking forward to my shipments and I buy more of my favorites in between shipments.

We arrived for wine tasting on a busy Saturday. Gea greeted us with a big smile, a wine list and a wine glass for tasting at the front door because it was crowded at the bar. It was a very busy Saturday president's weekend. Everyone was friendly and welcoming!!

I love the unique tasting room, they have some outdoor seating areas now, no indoor seating. The tasting bar is kinda small, and it can get busy on weekends, but I know the servers try their best. I'm glad they are open weekdays. Many wines to choose from at very good prices. I've recently become a fan of their Blazon Pinot Noir.

Can't make it there all the time but we love Oak Ridge and their wines. Such a great value for their club too. They will hold the wines if you are not local. Bring some snacks with you. They have a newly renovated California patio. Perfect for those hot summer days. Enjoy your OZV on the patio. See you next time! Got to get a bottle refilled.

This winery came recommended by several other tasting rooms. I think because their wines are well known. The OVZ brand is affordable and in grocery stores and Costco. We were here on a weekday so it wasn't too crowded. The smallish tasting room is inside a huge barrel and there is a patio outside. I can see on a weekend it could get very full. Friendly staff. The wines were okay to good. Prices very affordable. We were able to taste one zinfandel not on tasting menu which was nice.

This winery is so cute and their wine is delicious. The tasting is so cheap and if you decide to become a member they waived the fee for tasting. The wine is so affordable. The staff were nice and accommodating. I felt like I come here anytime and be treated like I'm an old timer. I will definitely try this winery if you happen to be in Lodi.

Took my cousin to Oak Ridge Winery in August of 2018. It was her first day ever wine-tasting. We both agreed that the aesthetics of the exterior drew us in. The building/entryway mimicked a giant cask and you enter into the tasting room.
We arrived two minutes prior to closing, thankfully the ladies accommodated us and were very friendly. I highly recommend the 2016 OZV and the 2016 Old Soul Petite Sirah.

We had SO much fun in the tasting room. Our host was generous, talkative, and very welcoming. We came for the Zinfandel and ended up enjoying so much more. Even the boxed wines were shockingly delicious.

We enjoyed the wines so much that we became members. Membership offers are ridiculously generous-- 50% off a case of wine during your birthday and other great perks and discounts.

We left with a case of wine and we will certainly be back!

Well to start they just were not a happy welcoming bunch. Lol they were stiff and not very helpful at first and I all most said something. They started with box wine that was actually good but they were not. No explaining no info on the wine Nada!! Then started to relax a bit on the other pours. The wines were for the most part good but the staff need some happiness in their lives. We still bought bottles and my brother a whole case but even then they still were not impressing me at all and probably wont come back just because of that. Saturday and they were so grumpy.
