Heritage Oak Winery
Reservations are not required, just stop by! (Unless you have a large group, then advanced notice is appreciated). We are offering outdoor wine tasting flights, select wine by the glass and bottle service daily (11am-5pm), on the patio. Our hiking trail to the river is open (during business hours), for picnics or a stroll - please check in at the tasting room first!.

Heritage Oak Winery is located on an isolated stretch of Woodbridge Road six miles east of Lodi, California on 106 acres of property that nestles up against the north bank of the Mokelumne River. The winery was built beneath a towering blue oak tree that dominates the landscape for miles around. The tasting room is open every day, and features a stunning line up of crisp whites and fruit driven, full-bodied reds.
Services
We have a wide variety of wines to choose from, something for everyone. From crisp, clean whites and rose, to fruit driven reds, blends, and even some unique varietals. At Heritage Oak, we insure that only the best product goes into our wines. For the most part, we grow all our own fruit, with only a few exceptions.
The Heritage Oak Wine Club is absolutely free to join. Quarterly releases are January, April, July & October, and can either be delivered to your location by FedEx or picked up at the winery. Our members enjoy the luxury of being able to choose which wines they receive, something not all wine clubs offer.
This year's harvest of grapes is well under way. For me, this year stands apart from other harvests for a number of reasons. A light crop, perhaps resulting from the lack of moisture in the ground, combined with consistent heat all summer, have brought most varieties to maturity in a four week period, making us scramble to bring in the fruit.
Heritage Oak is great for enjoying a meal outdoors because there are several locations to choose from. For food, our guests are invited to either bring their own food or purchase the food provided in one of our picnic bags. Inside each of our bags is a light meal for two, including: a stick of salami, small block of cheese (3 to 4 oz.), a package of crackers, one apple and two bottles of water.

Very nice grounds. The owners are very nice and down to earth people. Today's vendor event was nice, good food, decent music, and good quality vendors.

Very hospitable and welcoming people despite a very busy day. We had a table in the shade and the tasting was accompanied by cold water and crackers. Each taste was in a labeled bottle with regular wine glasses for actual tasting. Prices were reasonable and our bottle purchases offset the tasting cost. We bought more than we had to as the wine was actually quite good. We will visit again.

Very rustic, family owned charming place. Dog friendly and kid friendly. We did not have time to take the trail down to the river. Apparently you can picnic there. Definitely going back. The wines were great too!

What a nice place, lots of trees for shade. Had a wine tasting event that was set up very well, had 5 flights of 5 wines. Great idea, all samples on little bottles, pour at your leisure. Good service, very friendly.

We arrived the day after xmas. Our gracious host Tom greeted us as we came in and escorted us to our site overlooking the river under magnificent valley oaks. In addition to their various batches of wine, balsamic vinegar and olive oil from neighboring farms were available in the tasting room. We purchased their Zinjo, a spicey red as well as a Sauvignon Blanc. The Zinjo was delicious. We're waiting to open the white wine this evening.
The estate has a well maintained trail that weaves among the hundreds of acres of vines and the riparian landscape. In one small meadow, we sat a spell in Adirondack
